I saw this pretty cool project that someone’s working on… just figured I’d share: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=180916 . It’s basically an arcade cabinet, but has a VB in it, with arcade sticks, buttons, and pinball flippers. Page 5 has the latest pictures as of now.

I’m a little unsure how it’ll all come together, but I definitely give him an A for effort, and hope it turns out nice. The craftsmanship is definitely great quality.

I have been tempted to pick up a gutted Battlezone cabinet and do something similar, but I really don’t have the room for a giant cab, when a VB works just fine w/o it. 😉 Plus, Battlezone cabs are VERY HEAVY.

That is awesome, superb creativity. I hope the final layout feels good for comfort etc, it looks like it should do and I just love the side buttons for pinball, brilliant touch.

I’ll keep an eye on that to see how it turns out, that’s going to be quite a piece!

this looks like something I’d see in one of my dreams! (not that thats a bad thing)

I can’t wait to see the end result! 😮

It is pretty SWEET! Wonder if he’ll paint it red and black?

Yeah, he painted the front black, and is planning to paint the sides red, as well as having red T-molding.

This is awesome. I’ve been searching for a store display forever but this is way better.

I think the black t-molding looks better, but it’s still a great idea well executed.
