First time here and what a awesome site!
I apologize if I posted this incorrectly. I know many forums have strict rules where and how you post.

I recently found a VB controller for $5 on amazon but when I opened the package there was no battery pack. I noticed that there are two small prongs on the back where the battery pack connects and I was thinking of making my own using a AC to DC adapter which is set for 9 volts.

I assume since it took six 1.5 AA batteries that the output is 9 volt DC. I am curious if anyone knows which prong is negative and which one is positive. I am also wondering if someone would be willing to look at the AC power adapter to post what the DC output is? I tried to look at pictures of the AC adapter but was unable to see what the DC output was.

Any information anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome!

Yes it is 9VDC. Looking at the back of your controller the left side is negative and the right is positive.

I would recommend getting a battery box of ebay just to make life easier.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! will let you know how it turns out.

No problem and good luck!

Got it working with an extra 9volt DC adapter I found laying around. Will post a video soon.

Awesome! I tried that once with very mixed results. In the end I just bought the adapter.
