Does anyone know of some cool projects with broken VB’s to turn them into something new?

Planning a project to make a pc out of a broken snes (could very well become the most powerfull snes on earth) where it remains as original as possible (routing usb through the controller ports, got two broken/bad working snes controllers I can rip for that) and also plan to make the harddrive out of the cartridgeslot or maybe gonna mod a broken super gameboy player I got to become an SD or compactflash card reader that you can put on top (and just put the harddisk inside the sgameboy player). Still planning though, not sure if I’m going to do it.

But I wondered if any such things have been done to the Virtual boy (not a pc, just a mod to something new, although a pc with two tiny lcd screens would be pretty awesome 🙂 ).
