Hey Everyone!
Incase anyone hasn’t seen, I’ll be doing some batches of reproductions of some Virtual Boy games. (more can be found here –> http://www.planetvb.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=6766&forum= ) I’m in works of seeing if I can get ahold of the guy responsible for Hyper Fighting. It’s no easy task, and It may just be easier to locate a proto of dragon Hopper :P.

BUT if I do get a hold of him, and I do get his blessing, curious, who would be seriously interested in a physical production of the game? I’m not sure of a price yet, depends on what I find out. But if I get the okay, and the ROM. I plan to release it with a newly designed label (which will help tell my batch from previous ones, plus I like the design I made more :P)

It’ll be cart only, but I’ll let Uncle Tusk use the artwork for him to create a box and manual for the game to help people get a CIB copy as well as let people who want just cart only to be cart only (In exchange I’ll just ask him for a free set for myself :P)

Just getting a feel for demand and a head count. I’ll keep you all posted from what I find out

I honestly just want a loose copy, because I wanna have some 2-player action on my two VBs. I also need a link cable to connect the two games together.

AFAIK the whole point is to supply loose copies (i.e. do away with the whole EBay CIB BS).

Just created an account to say that I’m up for buying a copy.

A loose copy would be enough for me.
I never liked the US BOX design for the Virtual boy and Games anyway. It is beyond me why all the homebrew is always using this ugly US design 😀
If I get a copy, I will make my own japanese style box for it.

I know my account is new here, been wanting to make one for years but didn’t see the point until now. I got a partly broken VB today, left eye is out, but otherwise working minus the lack of a stand for it. The up side, came with the ac adapter module and 3 games and relatively cheap no less.

I’ll get someone to take it in and do the solder fix so it doesn’t totally die out as it works otherwise.

Because of that I’ve had an interest in this SF2 clone for years and I’d be interested in knowing what the price would be and when general availability will be as I’d be down for a single cart only copy, not really into boxes and all that.

@Johnny Phantom: The one thing that sticks out from your posts is your dedication to your life, which leaves you with very little free time. I was curious, would you ever consider passing everything on to someone who has the time to complete this project?
