Just bought a CIB copy of Virtual Fishing on eBay for $77. Since it was the cheapest Buy it now option, plus it was $110 but there was a sale on it that ended in 9 hours, I thought it would be a good buy. I heard they go for about $75 in box, but I didn’t see any that low on eBay except for this one. Did I do good?

I bought mine cart only for 45 dollars so that much for it in box was pretty good I’d say.

I was looking at them last year sometime and that’s about the best price I could find for a CIB. If it’s all in good condition you done good.

I just checked eBay’s sold listings and they range anywhere from $45 to $80 so you paid on the high end. How complete was it and shape?

With videogames and also many other things the price is dependent on the condition. I recently “upgraded” my Virtual Fishing as I wanted to have a perfect looking box, I paid 78 USD + 10 USD shipping and this was a new copy in absolutely mint condition. Fortunately also the seller shipped it in a sturdy box, that´s also a critical point when you buy stuff like that.
Virtualboy stuff got pretty expensive over the years.

It had game, box and manual, so it was pretty complete.

I got mine about 2 months ago for $50 CIB. I had been waiting for about 6 months to find a deal and when I seen it I had to jump on it.

I got mine for about $55 CIB, near mint shape. It came from Australia so I think the exchange rate probably helped. But that was a lucky break since they usually go for more. If it makes you feel any better, I still haven’t found an affordable CIB 3D Tetris…

3D tetris is rediculous. I was watching an auction when I still needed it. In the final seconds it shot up from $70 to $140. Yikes. Managed to pick one up for $105, just to end the search.

I got a cart-only version of 3D Tetris. I forgot how much I paid for it, but I doubt it was more than $40.

I’ve seen cart only 3D Tetris get up to $100, and even more if it came with a manual >_< So I'm not too bummed at ~$100 for a good condition CIB.

Well, I just got Virtual Fishing in the mail today. I can’t play it, it’s all in Japanese!

Well, yeah, it’s a Japanese game =P

Be thankful it’s not an RPG. I’m desperately trying to play Samurai Spirits RPG..It’s so difficult! I can’t even figure out how to save =P

But V-Tetris is a Japanese game and there’s enough English that I can play it.

I’m still working on the translation lol

Yeah, Japanese games are all over the place when it comes to how much English they’ll use. Some are entirely in English and require no localization when importing them to other countries. Others..well..
