Dear All,

Recently I’ve downloaded the Reality Boy emulator in order to try out some Virtual Boy games. One of the games that I really wanted to try out is Wario land and so I downloaded a rom through emuparadise.me (http://www.emuparadise.me/Nintendo_Virtual_Boy_ROMs/Virtual_Boy_Wario_Land_(Japan,_USA)/90916-download). Although the game seems to be working it also suffers from a lot of slowdown. Additionally, the sound is mixed really weirdly: the sound effects are loud while the actual music is barely audible. I was wondering whether these are regular features of the game or problems with the rom.
Thanks in advance,

Virtual Game Boy

Just give mednafen a try. If you have the same results your rom might be broken.

Not at all. This game is one of my all-time favorites, and I’ve never experienced slowdown or the audio oddities you mentioned. I played it only on real hardware, so yes either your emulator is having issues with the ROM, or your computer may not be sufficient for playing this game emulated.
