Matsumura is a native resident of Japan. After graduating from his university program, he officially joined Nintendo in 1988. initially working as a Computer Programmer for the Research & Development 1 Division.
Matsumura contributed program to several notable titles in the Tetris Attack, Wario Land, and WarioWare series. Matsumura’s last official credit for the company was on WarioWare Inc.: Mega Micrograme$ for the Game Boy Advance. While his retirement or departure hasn’t been disclosed, it’s likely that he is no longer working for the company.
