Oooooh, good luck with that… GC prices are rising about as much as SNES games have been for a while. It’s kind of gross, especially considering how cheap they are in Japan. And I don’t think there’s any good backup loader solution at the moment, unless I missed something. (SDGecko is like barely passable) So no Skies of Arcadia or Fire Emblem for anyone who isn’t rich as heck.

Oooh, there’s a few I really like for all three. I’ll list some noteworthy ones with little mini-reviews!

GB/GBC:
Game & Watch Gallery 1, 2, 3 are all really cool collections of Gunpei Yokoi’s Game & Watch handheld games. There’s modern versions of the games with Mario & friends and classic versions that faithfully emulate the original handhelds.

Legend of the River King is a fishing RPG with a calming atmosphere, well-done graphics and music, and heck, it’s a rad fishing RPG! It’s a nicely-done concept, I’d like to see more of it someday.

Mario Tennis is a tennis RPG about a boy who trains to become the bestest tennis player ever. Mario and friends aren’t in the game until the postgame, actually! But I think everyone knows that by now. It’s solid and you can upload your player character to Mario Tennis 64 if you wish!

GBA:

WarioWare Twisted is a bunch of gyroscope-controlled microgames that are frantic, funny, and REALLY well-done. I wonder why I can’t think of a game that’s used a gyroscope better even though gyroscopes are commonplace nowadays.

Advance Wars and Duel Strike are must-plays for anybody who has a GBA. It’s a light-hearted Intelligent Systems strategy game with a huge variety of units. It’s legendary for a reason.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is probably one of the best RPGs ever made. Seriously. It’s bursting with character and charm, the gameplay is unique and interesting, think Paper Mario with two playable characters that can perform a wide variety of combination attacks that require quick reflexes and good timing. There’s a 3DS remake, but it’s kinda meh. Play either one.

Hope some of these suggestions helped, I can give more, if you want!

I just got VN10599890[5] from Gamerheadz, a local retro game store. They have about two more in stock, but they’re mostly just for display, since no one (save me) has taken an interest in them.
