Holy shoot! You’re right! I was wondering why that pre-render of Mario looked very off-model… Perhaps this was used from the convention that showed off the demo!

I agree with everybody, here. Something slightly off topic, and in reference to some responses; I’m a talented cartoonist and pixel artist. I’d love to help somebody out with designing graphics. I usually work on my own projects, alone. Nothing really with the Virtual Boy; I only play the system. Normally, I design graphics with a limited color pallet (NES).

You know what they say, “you learn something new everyday.” To be honest, the hard difficulty is not even… -well, too hard. Although, I do find Donkey Kong Jr. to be somewhat tricky to play against. His servings and returns can be a bit unpredictable. One thing I forgot to mention, however. After the credits, the game will reveal a button combination one can use on the title screen. It basically unlocks a special expert mode. From what I remember, it’s not anything that spectacular. However! After beating the special tournament mode, the player is treated to a variation of the in-game credits, including its own song! I find the inclusion of the special expert mode to be pointless. It doesn’t really change much in terms of game-play, graphics, and music, besides the difficulty. I hope the Planet VB administrators include these two missing songs on VB Mario’s Tennis’ soundtrack listing, in the near future!
