Great job Protoman!

MegaSilverX1, did the AVGN video really make you want to buy a VB? His message went the opposite way then 😛

Also, “IT’S NO USE!!”

That AVGN episode is one of my favorites and I was curious to try it and I enjoyed it. So yeah, his message went the other way for me. The episode also has one of my favorite moments from Jame’s videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0jhMPbpeIY

Good to see others liking the Virtual Boy 🙂

I bought mine after watching the AVGN episode and it was the only Nintendo console I didn’t own besides the Game & Watch games and I really enjoy playing it. I had my older sister and her fiance play it and they seemed to like it.

I’m sure this has been asked before, but would a Super Virtual Boy be possible? Like the Super Game Boy and Game Boy Player, but for VB games.

Check this post to see high resolution pictures of what the glasses look like:

The lenses on the 3D glasses actually have no color to them at all.

Cool. How’s the 3D look?

Having an RPG on the Virtual Boy would be sweet or maybe a Mega Man game like an improved version of Rockman & Forte: Challenger from the Future.

Are they like the usual red and blue 3D glasses or are they like red and black? I own issue 75 too, but it didn’t come with the glasses so I was just curious.

The blog got front paged!

The blog is finished and has been posted. Thanks guys! http://www.screwattack.com/news/10-virtual-boy-games-worth-playing

Editor’s Note: Personally, I disagree with this blog post, as my experience with the Virtual Boy (while good for a few chuckles) resulted in a massive headache after only 20 minutes of play. But even though I disagree, I still found this to be an enjoyable read…but I’ll say that the 3DS’ 3D effect is far superior. 😛

Who’s the jackass who did your editing? I think it’s been well-established by now that anyone who gets a headache from Virtual Boy doesn’t know how to use the IPD and Focus controls.

It’s just his opinion.

I find playing the Virtual Boy in the dark, with the automatic pause feature on, and playing with the IPD and Focus to reduce any chance of getting a headache.

Thanks for helping with the blog guys. I almost have it all written out and it should be posted this weekend.

Most of the time I use the stand, but if I’m on a bed I may either lie on my back and rest the system on my face.

To be fair, it’s the Virtual Boy, a console that to most gamers, is a pile of crap. Plus Faceball doesn’t look like a must have game looking at gameplay, especially for $100 when I can get the SNES and Game Boy versions for much less.

Thank you 🙂

Thank you 🙂

Happy new year Planet Virtual Boy!

Now that Christmas is over the second serial # is VN106160202. It’s a North American Virtual Boy.

I haven’t played any games that gave me a headache, but I’ve seen let’s plays of Sonic Genesis and that was the only time I got a headache from watching a game. I can’t imagine how bad it could be actually trying the game out.

Watched your playthrough of Mega Man 1 and enjoyed it. I can beat Mega Man 1-8, MM&B, II, IV, and V with little trouble, but I still use the select cheat on the Yellow Devil and Robot Master gauntlet. I’m still new to the site but it’s nice to see a fellow Mega Man fan.

Thanks for linking my VB review on the site 🙂
I plan to review some VB games later after the holidays too.
