Saw this over at http://3dsforums.com/nintendo-3ds-games-31/virtual-boy-3ds-virtual-console-16025/ and thought it was a nice mock up.

(my bad if this user is on here and has posted it already, but I couldn’t find it in a quick search)

While I’m on the VB-3DS topic, here are some screen caps of VB games that can be viewed on the 3DS in 3d. They give a good feel of how they would look emulated.
