If this has anything to do with the title of the thread then I’m not watching it.

This is the sort of dumb shit some Youtubers do for views, I’m not going to give them what they want. I ain’t a clicker of click bait.

I remember seeing a video like this years ago and cringing. I just felt uneasy seeing one destroyed like that.

I dont know why people feel the need to make these videos. Everyone was praising him in the comments too. I watched it til the end though and he showed that he didnt destroy the working one where both eyes looked completely fine (like I thought he did) , just a for parts one headset only.

If you don’t want to support it just use adblocker to watch his video 😉

I do use adblocker, but I don’t want to add another “view” to the video.

Not that one single view really matters in a world where crap like this has throngs of fans, but it’s a principle

Right now, I’m censoring myself….

I have a family member who was a manager at more than one GameStop. This person has stories of corporate telling them to smash retro trade-ins with a hammer to increase demand.

Sad times. 🙁

That’s horrible! Curse you, Gamestop! *Shakes fist*

Just the next step in reasons to hate that chain after their edict years ago to throw away disc and DS cases, boxes and dust clips for GB to GBA games. All to save space to fit more stock as it was a waste to them. The downside to their criminal to gamer level pricing which didn’t vary by having game alone or everything.

Sure, the Virtual Boy is rare, but why are you guys making such a big deal about this?

Because smashing things to get Youtube views is fucking stupid.

I know. Destroying a Virtual Boy is a bad idea for many reasons. But it’s what keeps the money going for King, and it’s not any of your Virtual Boys, and it’s only one. (Yes, it’s two, if you count the water-damaged one, but you get the point.) I don’t see why you’re making this such a problem.

It doesn’t matter what he smashes, the whole concept is ridiculous.

This sorta thing is lowest common denominator entertainment. I put it in the same category as say..ohh..the Kardashiens or something. Are you learning anything? No, it’s just something to aimlessly look at as you sit on your ass wasting your day away.

Seeing as how popular this sorta shit is there’s a LOT of people on this planet that need something better to do…

You have a valid argument, but I see those types of videos as things to play in the background while doing other things.
