Hey there guys, I’ve been stuck with a useless (but brand new) Virtual Boy for about a year now and darn it I’m gonna fix it! The problem I can see is that one of the springs in the battery back is missing. I tried aluminium foil but failed.
I know the solution is to get a battery pack but I can’t find any store that ships them to Dubai 🙁 hope you guys help me and I will be able to support this forum and support this awesome head-ache inducing console!

It’s actually supposed to be like that, I just checked my VB battery pack and it looks like what you’ve got in your picture there. (Not that I ever use my VB battery pack. An AC tap is really the way to go unless you like buying 6 AAs every 6 hours 😛 ) I think the reason that I got my second VB for $5 was because it was “broken”. It just turned out to be a battery issue. Make sure everything is plugged together nice and tight and that your batteries are super fresh. Otherwise there’s not much you can do… Hope that helps!
From what I can see all my batteries are fit in and snapped in snugly in the controller and all my batteries are brand new, and I have a brand new working game in the system (Mario Tennis) and I don’t hear any buzzing or see any change at all 🙁 is there any way to test this?
