I recently moved home from living out of state for work. About a month after being home I stumbled on an add for a Virtual Boy w/ Blockbuster case. Ended up meeting up with the guy and was pretty excited for the deal.

Long story short I now have a VB Blockbuster case but the case is completely rid of any of the foam that was once inside of it. Do you guys have any suggestions for replacement foam or anything of that nature? I would love to restore as much as I can.

Hey! I recently got a hold of a BB case myself. Mine has the foam – If you can’t find good pictures of it, let me know and I can take some. I would think you can somehow get a solid block of foam, and cut it out similar enough to the same shape as the original.

Do you mind if I ask where you found the deal? If I ever look at craigslist in my area, all I see are lots of ads for people wanting to BUY your video game related stuff.

I own a BB case to. Never patted with it.
But mine missing the sticker on the front.

The center piece from mine was missing, I just glued together grey foam to make a similar piece but mainly so my VB would stop sliding around. Honestly my repair is nowhere near correct.

That’s the foam I used, it’s pretty close to the original color.

I just scored one of these too, and the foam is in rough shape. Any update of a way to fix this up?

If you go onto Amazon there is a pluck foam rectangle that you can purchase for around $15 I believe it was. That likely will fit inside of there just fine and you can plug the cubes out of it and then make it to the shape that you want.

I don;t have a real BB case I have one that is metal from Harbor Freight and it has the pluck foam inside and I pulled out what i needed to mount the unit inside.
