I found this old Nintendo Roulette board game today at a thrift store. I assume it’s from sometime in the mid to late 1960s going by the Nintendo logo in the top left corner of the box. I couldn’t really find much about it online when looking up a list of toys Nintendo made; closest things I found to it were a game called “Las Vegas Game” from 1970 and a video showing a similar looking game called “Nintendo Magic Roulette” from 1966. However, both of these games seem like they were only released in Japan. I found one of these Roulette games on eBay claiming that it was one of Gunpei Yokoi’s creations. I know he made quite a few toys for Nintendo like the Ultra Hand and Love Tester, but I’m not sure if he made this.

The game seems to be in fairly good condition. The boxes edges were torn a little, but I tapped them from the inside. Most of the items seem to be inside (except for a few chips) from what I can tell:

-Roulette Instructions sheet
-White Roulette board sheet
-Roulette wheel with ball
-12 Blue chips
-12 Yellow chips
-11 Green chips
-12 Red chips
-10 white chips
-Chip holder
-Cardboard insert

Sorry if the pictures aren’t the nicest. I took them with my phone which is a few years old. I was curious if anyone else knows anything about this board game.

Thrift stores should really do a quick google on the things they pick up – they always miss little grails like this.

Thank you for the link. Nintendo certainly made a bunch of interesting toys and electronics before the Famicom/NES. I recognize games like Sheriff, Chiritori, and the Ultra Machine from their appearance in Wario Ware.
