Original Post

This is the official announcement for the release of Bound High complete with box and manual like it always should have been.

Together with Mindstorm and Bigmak we have been able to assemble an all star team to get this together.

Couple of notes.

There will be an original 50.
The plan is to make 100 of these total. If there’s enough demand we will continue to make them. But once 100 sell we’ll need a bunch more to do another batch!

If you have already paid and/or agreed to pay for the box and manual, you can still receive the box and manual. Or you can use the money you paid to put towards a Complete in box version.

What you get.
Box, manual, cartridge with label, inlay, and i believe inserts (bigmak?)

These will ship out in roughly 2-3 weeks

The price of the game, shipping included will be

US price $71 USD
International price $75 USD

We’ll be staring on our second release, Space Pinball. We look forward to doing lots of these. And other releases. So, get your butts in gear game designers!

The first 20-30 carts will be in my hand soon. So, the first 20-30 people to pay will get there’s in the order received.

Since I cannot update this original thread I’ll be keeping track on my own and on Nintendo age at this thread. This is the official release thread! If you’re on this list and have paid and I have forgotten, please let me know.

http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=6&threadid=86917

If you’ve paid 25 or 30, just subtract that from the price and that’s what you owe.

Please contact me via PM or post in this thread to be added to the list. The sooner you pay the sooner your game will go out and the higher on the list you will be!

Thanks a bunch. Attached is the box image. The rest will look just as amazing!

Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Heh… it’s funny that you mention that, because in order for the seller to be able to offer that, he does, in fact, cannibalize a CIB of Virtual League Baseball, and he sells the cart separately.

Quite possibly but as I stated… Atleast it wasn’t me personally doing it.

Yeah… I’d have a hard time cannibalizing that game myself. I don’t even want to know what techbabe does with the instruction manual and box of each game for which he sells solely the inserts and dust cap. I never see those for sale, so they probably find their way into the garbage can.

Such a crime!

I actually like Baseball on VB, I sure hope they aren’t tossing the box, instructions and game in the garbage. That’s depressing that any game would be tossed.

Oh no… techbabe sells a “brand new” cart with missing dust cap along side a brand new and sealed copy of Virtual League Baseball. And he also sells all the inserts taken from the game separately. But he never sells the instruction booklet or box of the one from which he took the inserts… at least not on Ebay that I’ve seen.

Perhaps he uses the instruction booklets for packing paper? :-/

I just made a cover.
It showes the japanes version.
I know its pretty small hat do you think ?

Looks pretty sweet. I like how vibrant the character is, that might be as a contract to the pale “Virtual Boy” though. I’d like to see what it looks like with vibrant red lettering as well.

Check these bad boys out!!! Getting ready to ship these in the next couple days. Thanks for patiently waiting everyone. The first 25 should be out by the end of this week.

There’s still a few left to be claimed if anyone is interested.

You can buy everything through http://www.uncletusk.com

For the next project we plan to be ahead of the game and have them completed beforehand so there’s no waiting.

Also attached is a little tease of what’s to come.

Yeah 2 more to add to my collection, I’ll be at 23/25 🙂

I realized a bit ago that after nearly a month after paying, I am still not on the NA posting and I should be number 30.

This looks great. Can’t wait. Great job.

Since I released the Space Pinball ROM, is there any special discount for me on that one? 😉

Great to see this coming to life after such a short time.

I just wondered why this was never announced in the news on the main site.

I think it technically causes some problems in the copyright law area, since Nintendo still owns the copyrights to the game and nobody got official permission from them to make and sell these things. That’s probably why it’s best to just leave it in an obscure forum section of the site and not make it more easily visible in the News section.

Well, this makes perfect sense.

Not sure why it would matter as it’s now being openly sold through his website…no secret there!

Anyone received their orders yet, or can vouch for Uncle Tusk?
I got burned on AtariAge for a homebrew and like at least some high level validation…
No offense intended…

Well I can absolutely say that the carts were made without a shadow of a doubt 🙂

I trust the guy.
