and that’s true, all are preordered. “on sale” indeed sounds confusing, though, so i changed that. 😉

a status update: unfortunately, at the moment there are problems with pcb production, so batch 5 is on hold. :-/

so the first half of the next batch is on sale! emails have been sent to those who preordered before may, 12th.

here’s a quick photo of the “new” flashboys. they have new boxes, which were professionally printed on cardboard, plus a quick reference card and a pvb card. the new price is 85 euro. still 25 euro below the ebay price. 😉

note: of course the package still contains an usb cable, i just forgot to include it on the photo.

Mine didn’t 😕 Doesn’t matter though as I had one lying around. I padded/loaded some commercial roms just to check I knew what I was doing (I do, phew) but have so far just been playing homebrew.
Aside from recently when voting in the coding competition I’d never bothered with VB emus (and thus homebrew) so I’ve got a lot of new VB stuff to sample 🙂

Okay, I found out about these WAY too late. Are there any Flashboy’s still available? For how much? Where can I send money???? haha.

Mine just arrived today! Only 7 business days to get from Germany to Canada! Only posting because I have to do something while it is flashing a new game 😀

I’ve got mine too (# 174). I’ve just paded and loaded a ROM to the cart, and it’s very easy ; i’ll test the game on my VB later… :thumpup:

Current status: I did not get a reply from many who preordered, so I have some FlashBoys left!

Optionally (if you want a low serial number from the second batch), Vectrexer also has some on sale on ebay.
