I have a copy of red alarm. Just a cartridge. During gameplay it shows Red Alarm and Nintendo Virtual Boy messaging in small text. It also advertises T & E soft. On the back of the cartridge it says “Previously Played Product 90 Day Limited Warranty”. I saw a demo copy of Red Alarm that has this same sticker. The front of the game does not say anything about demo game. I purchased this game directly from nintendo. It was after the Virtual Boy had been discontinued. I have never played a Red Alarm Demo cartridge. Why is this messaging displayed. It seems to me that something like this would be done in a demo. Do I have a demo copy?

They all do this. It’s just something T&E threw in to say “HEY…You’re playing this on the Virtual Boy..Don’t you forget that!”

I think it’s funny, gives it a certain charm. It’s faint and put in the background, so it never gets distracting when you’re busy blowing stuff apart.

I see. Thanks for the info. It doesn’t effect the gameplay at all. I have never seen this in any other games. I can live with it. Not a problem.

Yeah its only in Red Alarm. It was the first game T&E worked on for the system, and I guess they were pretty excited about it.
