Today only, ThinkGeek is holding a contest that’s free for anyone to enter, and the first prize is a boxed Virtual Boy with 4 games! The funny thing is, it’s obviously supposed to be a joke, but I’m sure anyone at this site would actually be excited if they won… (Including myself) ๐Ÿ˜›

Oh yeah, it also comes with a $1000 gift certificate to ThinkGeek… And the runner-up prize is a 3DS, which is okay I guess. ๐Ÿ˜€

Check it out!

I also thought it was funny that after you enter, there’s a YouTube video of a VB commercial with the PVB watermark on it… ๐Ÿ˜› Frankly I think they should’ve gone with the “Needs your eyes” one. That has got to be one of the best commercials ever made…

Cool, I just entered it, I want a US VB, and its boxed too, I could find a use for $1000 spree and maybe a home for the 3DS.

in case it isn’t an april fools joke it is worth entering.

I don’t think it is a joke, I think like Fwirt says they have gone for a bit of irony in offering a VB as first prize for a 3D contest and the joke is that the 3DS is second prize, which is what most folks will want, but not members of this site.

So go for it, well no don’t, my mistake, its a joke, not worth entering, (do y’think my ruse worked and I’ll now be the only entrant?)

If I knew what exactly you are supposed to do, I’d enter. But they only mention prizes, not the rules/

Thanks for the heads up and thus, making your chances of winning a little bit worse! ๐Ÿ˜€

I believe its not a joke, so I entered (even though I have a US Virtual Boy…)

you can never have too many Virtual Boys (or $1000 dollar shopping sprees) ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Eh, don’t mention it. I thought about keeping it to myself, but everyone would probably have found out by the end of the day anyway. I figure there’s already going to be a few thousand entries, so why not increase the chances of it going to someone who will actually appreciate it?
