Virtual boy has only 1 oscillating mirror working

So ordered an untested virtual boy on ebay and only 1 of the mirrors works. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix it. Also both sides have no picture and i can get sound if i try to move the broken mirror by hand but it sounds really weird if i stop moving it.
