I started an earlier thread about how the music sounds like “Sanford and Son”, but I was figuring out the notes so I could play it on a keyboard. The first eleven notes sound almost, if not, exactly like “Baby Elephant Walk.” I eventually figured out the music for it, and I recorded myself playing it, edited out the mistakes and long pauses I needed to think about what note to play next. I don’t play the keyboard very well, but I have made two little CDs of me playing video-game related music. This is the Virtual Boy related song for my third CD I decided to continue working on. Here is my little musical tribute to the Virtual Boy:

I like the idea very much! A whole album of remixed music from Virtual Boy would be a cool thing…

You should use some tracker to program the music, though, or at least use a keyboard with line out to record.

Would you mind sharing the notes for this song? I’d like to try building this song in Caustic 3.

sure thing:

B E F# G# B A# B G# E A# B
B E F# G# B A# B G G# E (repeat)

D E F / F / F E F G E F C
D E F / F G A / F D
D D A D A / A A G C G / F E F E…

I’m not exactly sure how I would do that, since my keyboard is huge and the only place I could think of putting it is away from the computer. Right now it’s on a table beside my bed, so I sit on my bed and play it. I’ve been meaning to get a keyboard stand for it, though.
