I’d rather it not be shown at all…then shown messed up 😛

I still think your video’s are the best in terms of actual in-game footage I’ve ever seen. You KNOW how to set up that the virtual boy footage doesn’t flicker.

Seeing the game footage reminds me of how amazing wario land actually was. If wario land never existed..I don’t think I’d be a virtual boy fan today 😛 It’s the first game I played..even before Tennis.

Hrms you need to see if some hardware guru can make you an extension cord for your controller 😛

I wonder if we should start a new thread talking about the games the emulator can run and at what degree. Rank the best of the best currently…something that can be modified overtime as new games are tried and new releases of the emulator are made.

Also, perhaps a list of the best ‘load-out’ that can fit onto a flashboy.

If I had hairs on my chin for every project dogp is working on or has worked on…I’d look like a member of ZZ top…and not the drummer 😛

I have an extra wario land not for retail sale..pm me, and we’ll figure something out.

Got what i needed 🙂

Japanese demo instructions (if you have a box/unit and need them)

I just wanna play golf in green 😛

Protoman is the master of making vb vids. He sets his framerate up in such a way so there is no flicker. If anyone can make a vid to tv real time work..it’s him.

Actually no clue what the project is…f-zero had problems with the frame rate or something. Thinking guy started on another project and it’s pretty big (?) and couldn’t get it done in time for the compo (?)..or maybe he emailed krisse and it didn’t get posted (krisse was on vacation at the end of the compo I think). Or maybe he just didn’t want to post a demo and wanted to finish it.

Let’s drop it guys.

We atm have no plans of making a cib hyper fighter and putting it up on tusks site for sale.

Secret info that’s not really secret info:

When/if the coder wants to release the rom in whatever form he will. Even if i get a copy of a cart and download the rom off of it..I will not make it avail without the coder wanting us too (but I might use it to make my own copy that will not be for sale).

We’ve had internal discussions of making parts (boards/chips/connectors/cases) avail for people to make their own carts. Also, if artwork is published they can make their own boxes. This is not a promise that we will. The connectors we have are limited in number and it will be easier for people to use their own doner cart for connectors.

Their are other people that make boards/carts of vboy games..not sure what they are planning. This is just what we are thinking of doing..and it’s are premature. The ROM might be finished in a year..who knows.

*sorry for my spelling..long day at work and i’m pretty tired.

Great entry Chris 🙂 I think this is your best homebrew to date.

Few things. I think the 3-d effect might be in the wrong direction. Your bottom puzzle is the closest to the screen..but the top puzzle has the brightest outline ?

All the letters seem to be on the same plane (?) Took me a min or realize this, seems to me that the letters should be on the same plane as the grid ?

Maybe i’m missing something on the controls (heh prob me) but when you are moving around and solving words the default letter is ‘a’ and not blank. I can’t even select blank. So, if you are going around solving words you end up with a bunch of a’s on the screen.

Although a great deal more tech. advanced..but, a 3-d cube that you could manipulate and see 3-d letters would really make this homebrew stand out and let the effects of the virtual boy be more ..prominent (sp?). But, don’t take advise from me..i can’t even code ‘hello world’ on the vboy 🙂

But, overall I enjoyed it 🙂 Very solid entry Chris and I’m happy you made the game. Makes me want to put my hand on your head and mess up your hair. Atta boy Chris..keep up the good work.

Just you dogp 🙂

Some looked a bit deep. My wife has used toothpaste to clean the headlights on our cars. But, she puts an oil on them afterward that turns solid and fills in the micro scratches that are formed by the toothpaste.

I must say the bar has been set pretty high with the first entry 🙂

I would have to agree..the best way is to get a tap and whatever snes adapter works over there.

Nice video 🙂

Nice to have you here 🙂

You know about the flashboy..if you want some suggestions on some games to try..just ask. Off the top of my head..
Bound high, faceball, fishbone, vb racing, blox, hyper fighting, hunter..puuh you have some games to try 🙂

Also, if you haven’t read about it…learn about the glitchy display issues and how to fix them.

Also, speedyink is totally correct..great time to join. A few more weeks and we’ll see what people have been working on :).

a lot of times i get doubles when I just need one or two things from an auction..and it’s a ‘lot’. You seem to gain a bunch of doubles when that happens. But, it’s a good thing..you can give them to people that can really use them..or trade.

BTW..i want to see PICS on this thread!!!

oh and srimok…I need that mexican sealed adapter set..give it to me…give…give

They seem to be going from anywhere 100-170 or so. I’d post on nintendoage also.

-Eric

We’re really not publishers or anything. But, there are some people here that try to make games for the community to enjoy. Just some fanboys 🙂 But, if you have questions..just ask. We’ll try to help you out.
