Hello…! This game is still in development, but I haven’t been posting updates here as to not confuse people and mislead them about this project, something I should have cleared up a while back.

This is not a homebrew. This is an indie game, which is not really something that I suppose belongs here. If you guys are interested in keeping up with progress on this, go check “http://reddit.com/r/yanworld”.

It would be cool if you managed to get the game running on a real Virtual Boy 😀 looks promising.

Still looks great,by the way, what engine are you using for your game?

It looks damn good, great job lad 😀

Hey,if you can i recommend you to download F-Zero X Climax for the everdrive,a awesome 3D remake of the last f-zero game released so far,but get the JPN ROM of F-zero X and patch it ’cause it support 64DD. And knowing the the Dreamcast community are reviving long-dead servers of even unreleased games like PBA bowling 2001,i think it’s possible to revive Randnet servers.

If i’m not mistaken,it’s hard to program for the N64 due to the fact that programmers had to create their own microcodes.

Awesome. Had no idea it would do the DD games as well. Looks like I have found my next purchase. Thanks for the info!

You’re welcome 😉

There needs to be a N64 homebrew scene. I have not found one homebrew N64 game. Does anyone even know how to program for this system? I tried to do the PS1, I would think it would be similar, except it would be on a cartridge. The main problem I had with the PS1 was that I could not get sound to work. I would think this would be easier since it’s a cartridge. Any idea how I can get started or point me in the right direction?

Well…Kind of,there are various examples:

But my favorite is a full 3D conversion, actually a hack to turn it into a New Game,it even has 64DD support: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ICPGjWlwrWc

Looks Bloody Awesome,by the way, what kind of engine you’re using to make the game Nin?

That would be really awesome, a compilation game for the VB would be sweet 🙂

For me:
Knuckles Chaotix – 32X
Iron Soldier – Atari Jaguar
Tigger’s Honey Hunt – N64,PS1,PC
Cho Ren Sha 68K – X68k,PC
Zen: Intergalactic Ninja – NES
Cyber Core – TG16
Comix Zone – Genesis
Panic Bomber – VB
And more that i can’t remember right now

Good game by the way,i think they choosed the color scheme for the images to symbolize their VB roots.

😀  This Game is freaking amazing,i definitely want the flashboy or those now rare repro carts to play this game,i LOVE the music,Especially the world 2 theme & the Final boss music.

My second favorite Game on the VB,After…well…
you know who is THE best game on the system.

The engine look very promising, the 2d graphics on those screenshots looks really good, keep up the good work you two!
