Congratulations Dan! So glad this thing is now in your hands. For what it is, 300,000 yen is a bargain. :vb:

Awesome… congrats! You got a pretty good deal on it IMO. I’ve seen debuggers sell for that, without a link cable and without the SCSI card.

DogP

Never heard of any other debuggers being sold. Were these you’re talking about auctioned off as well or were they private deals?

Is this the first-known, official link cable ever to have surfaced at an auction?

It is, indeed!

Holy Shizzle!!!

Not even does the VUE Debugger come with a PC Interface card, it also includes a link cable!

Do you know who made these? I’d like to have whoever did try to make an Insecticide one. I like the GoSub one.

I could track them back to the following thread, but I have no idea who made these specific covers. Maybe the thread starter can help you?

Good to hear, Doc. Where are you moving to?

It seems he simply lost interest in collecting VB. No reason to worry, this won’t affect Planet VB in any way.

That VL Baseball one is really nice! And pretty rare I guess.

I’ve had a few once, including a US Jack Bros. flyer and Japanese Golf and Virtual Fishing flyers.

I’ve made repros of a Japanese Jack Bros. flyer and the Polygo Block flyer. I can send you copies of each if you want, PM me. 🙂

A complete collection of 1996 Famitsus is currently available on Yahoo Japan!

You can change your display name, yes. In the top left dropdown menu, select “Edit Profile”.

Must be a misprint, I don’t think the V810 was even available at 10 MHz. The official docs speak of at least 16 MHz.

Nintendo 64 Virtual Boy Interface N64 game Prototype

does somebody have some more info about this ( what it is and what i can do whit it ? )

I’ve talked to a collector about this cart before and according to him this is not really a VB interface. More likely, Nintendo just reused VB connectors for some kind of debugging interface connection.

Finally beat it with Rosalina and two Tanooki Suits. That was a really tough but very well designed level! Beating it is basically like learning the perfect choreography to dash through the level, step by step. Always perfecting the earler parts a bit more and getting a bit farther. I don’t know if I want to beat it with the other characters as well though, I would probably prefer to have a walk through Mordor with my feet tied together. 😉

We supposedly have all Virtual Boy promo videos from Nintendo Power Preview Laserdiscs 13 to 16 here: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/advertising/?p

Would be interesting if someone had another look at No 13, plus I’d love to have a full rip of it, but $1000? Lulz.

It’s a beauty!

Here’s a screen I modified to be in the VB’s native resolution, using double width pixels (4 pixels to simulate one).

Have you been messing with ImpactJS? 🙂 Well, yeah, it reminded me of Biolab Disaster, too. And Minitroid! Man, that would make a cool VB game.

I unlocked the last world yesterday. Easily beat the Toad level, but the Box house and Champion’s Road are freaking unforgiving. The latter seems to be even harder than the final level of Super Mario 3D Land, doesn’t it? I finally beat that one with both Mario and Luigi about three weeks ago and it honestly took me like a hundred tries.

Great one, thanks! I just added it to the site. :vb:

P.S. Also moved the thread to the correct forum

Thanks, Matej! Fixed that.
