Stereo Boy your work is incredible! and I’m not taking anything away from that. However just to let you know that through ProMotion NG “smart drawing”
by drawing curves you can do real 3d animations, and game graphics without the need of modeling in 3d or rotoscoping. Just to let you know. still incredible work!

You really should consider writing a book or at least tutorials on how you did this. I mean I can draw in 3d in Pro Motion NG But what you have here is off the map! How ever did you do this just by drawing freehand?

That’s interesting, Ive seen that design before. It seems like everyone and their brother have made something simular. I’m sure Nintendo was first.

Hi Alex,
in the states HPLovethrash, and sorry I don’t know of anyone that has that kind of stuff to sell.

On a lighter note (sorry for the double post I got timed out) it’s great to see that Dragon Hopper actually came close to getting released? who knows maybe that will get us that much closer to getting a copy of the game.

Well I guess that’s the end of PVB using my box art for the cover.
🙁

Yes Unfortunately the whole game of Hyper Fighting is only available in full cart form meaning you have to buy the cart to play Hyper Fighting.

Oh by the way nice gamming set up I love the KI arcade it adds a nice touch.

Greetings K-K Man,
Welcome aboard,
You gotta get a Flashboy from Minestorm.
Once you do that you gotta play Bound High and the Hyper Fighting demo.
You may have to wait a year for the roms but it’s well worth the wait.

Sometimes I have found that game names in other languages arn’t as cool from one language to the next. For example “rock man” In Japan it’s cool because nothing is harder than rock but in our language it seems a little weak so we call him Mega Man instead.

Vector Blaster could very easily be Red Alarm. StarWing could be StarFox and the like. And we all know that there was a really cool Mario in the works that was canned.

The moral of the story some names change some names stay the same it’s all about translation and marketing.
…Just my two cents

try this one for size,

hopw it helps!

What ever happened to EFX was that just an April fools joke too?

It does seem anytime any outside company is interested in us it’s always an April Fools!…Not cool not funny.

Many Thanks Thunder, as usual you rock!

first of all I’m not a programmer. Second of all this is a great powerful tool many congrats and kudos. Third, the export just isn’t working for me. I click it and it turns blue but nothing happens? Any body else with this problem? Can any body help me, Thunder, anybody?

Hi! Is have a Virtual Boy Paint Program??

Which I am not sure, but your question may translate to

Hi is there a Virtual boy Paint Program?

The answer is this, any art program as simple as Ms Paint or as complicated as Photoshop can be used to make VB graphics. As long as you can draw with single aliased pixels and specify what colors to use by making a color palette. You can make VB Graphics.

BUT………….

If you want to make stereo graphics that’s a different story. Please see my thread on Promotion NG.

http://www.planetvb.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=409

That’s the simplest way to make complicated 3d graphics sprites, backgrounds and tilesets with out figuring out the mathematically displacement by your self. At the same time there is complicated tools like drawing a spline in 3d or 3d fills and even a clone tool to make coping an existing sprite or graphic into 3d a snap!

In my opinion it’s the best way to create any stereo graphic.

I would have to say the hardest game I ever played was “cat mario” the flash game. In it they want you to die crazy things happen in that game to get you to die things you would never expect.

Hi, i was wondering, if i wanted to prank my friends and put picture/text to my virtual boy.
(like, “hey come look at my vb!” and then when you put vb on, boobs/scary face / text saying you are dumb pops out :D)

And if you should decide that you want to draw any of those things in 3d, ProMotion NG http://cosmigo.com/promotion/index.php has a lot of great tools to do just that and more. It just makes it a lot easier. Trust me
