I’d like to hope that’s my Virtual Boy in the photo but either way, I just wanted to join the team of happy folks with repaired VBs. My system arrived this afternoon and it’s both looking and playing like new. Thanks, Nes Freak!

its another customers but yours looks just as good. the reason it looks way better than the original image on this topic is cause i figured out a new faster more efficient method on fixing the displays.

Thank you for using my services!

so if a gb emu is possible i wonder if a nes emulator is possible.

that look really cool btw!

Heres a picture of my latest work. its a lot cleaner than before. might make a fresh topic since i cant edit my original post.

regular school glue will work. the stick kind. just when you go to use it open it up and let it dry out a bit. you want it tacky otherwise it wont stick very well

Welcome to the future… thats all i can say.

thank you! 😛

Also im on discord too on the virtual boy planet server my name is different. its ultimateARhacker #3841

Into the Virtual Red yonder!

whats about Virtual 3DS or VB3DS? this project looks interesting yeah ive been wishing to see a VB emulator that works on the 3ds is it only going to work with the new 3ds though?

Just wanted to update. i don’t like having confusing prices so

its 41.99 for one console from now on with 16.99 usps shipping with 100 insurance. or for 2 consoles its 82.99 with 21.99 shipping and 200 dollars insurance.

if you are shipping just the screens shipping cost will be cheaper but will vary on cost depending on how you want to ship your screens.

i really wish i could edit my original post on this site…

Also found this one by DogP right now:

It features some more advanced test modes like moving bars and screen fades.

oh nice! 😛 dang well now i need a flash boy in order to use it. thank you for making those roms though!

taken care of Dan

i have a discord account i just joined 😛

i sent you a pm with the details its around 40 plus 16.99 for return shipping and insurance 100 dollars

Its normal… this site is a pain in the donkey to create an account. there quite a few bug this site should have ironed out and features that should be added.

example

the message system doesn’t sent email notification and if you reply too many times the amount of text all piled in makes i difficult to find what was recently sent to me.

Not being about to edit the forum topic or post after a certain amount of time.

it needs work thats all i can say.

Interesting problem. Some games the Virtual Boy is totally fine – tennis, Wario. Others gives me crazy glitchiness in the right eye – Fester, Panic Bomber. I’ve attached a pic of Panic Bomber in the right eye. I’m not sure why it’s fine for some games but not others. At any rate, it seems that the fix for most vision issues is the ribbon cables in the oven a 250F for 2 minutes and then push down the connections. Before I do this I wanted to consult the experts here – thoughts?

please dont cook it. fixing baked virtual boy can be a pain in the donkey.

i can do the permanent solder fix for you. the oven trick is only temporary and is likely to damage your screens more than fix them. its very likely fixable via soldering.
