NOW you Play with Portable Power!

That could be the advertisement from Nintendo mid 90’s xD compared with a wired guy that walks along the Streets or his School and plays Virtualboy xD

I think i would buy that for a $ 😀

Awesome 🙂
I already have a Flashboy but i want that too, is there still a Preorder for that? 🙂

Would also buy a copy 🙂

No xD only bad english grammar haha

Hello and thanks for the welcome 🙂

And/Und hallo RetroDan, wie meinst denn das? Fragen bezüglich Problemen oder Technik oder eher in Richtung verkauf von VB Sachen?

I do the oven trick for years ago and it helped for abaout a half year. After that i test it with a breackfast knife, make it hot enough and strafe softliy over the it. After it was realy hot on this place i turned the display und pressed it with the ribbon cable on a glass table so that it becomes coöd and will be pressed on again. After that i strafed softly again with my nail between the smal cables where its glued on the display.

That takes abaout 15min of time, makes it a lot hotter then the oven trick but only on that place you need it and work for me for over a year now. And if the scanlines come again i will do it again so long it worked with that because how i said, it takes only abaout 15mins time 🙂

But how the other said, it can only work if you dosent solder it bevore.. after soldering it worng only soldering right again can help.

I repaired my ribbon cables arround one times a year with a breakfast knife and a lighter xD

I open it, screw the led thing out and then i make the knife hot with the lighter for arround one minuet so that its realy hot.

Then i stripe with the hot blunt side of the knife realy caredully over the glued ribbon cable, after that i hold it a few seconds on it so tjat its getting hot on this place where the ribbon cable is glued on the led.

Then i carefully take off the knife from the ribbon cable and fast turn it and press it realy hard on my cold living room glass table so that its getting cold while its pressed together.

After that i carefully stripe al micro cables from the ribbon cable with my fingernail so that the reaktivatet glue getring realy close also betwen se minimal space of the micro cables.

I have to do that arround one times in a year for the last three years and also often played with my vb.

So long it will work its the easyest and fastest way to gett it working (arround 15min i need for that). It the time comes where it dosent work again or it only hold a few weeks then i will go by and solder it or let it solder (we will see) i also repaired a few gamegear and modded a few gameboys with backlight but solder the virtual boy is a completly different thing because its a big way harder to solder that micro cables.

Hope you can understand my bad english 🙂

I think we have to made an petition to intelligent systems and write a hand wirte personal letter from all active PlanetVB users and all VB lovers we can reach on the world and ask for it if they still have the only VB Cartrige from dragon hopper.. and if so, if they whabt to sell it to the Planet VB forum.
Then we all pay together for the game, and the forum admin that also pay for the sever of this forum and keept it allive over the years become the game..

Then we can dump it for all other users..

And also we all can se the holy grale of the virtual boy 🙂
