Is that a picture from Space Pinball? The score text looks way bigger than the final version, I think (you’d think I’d remember, I played it like 2 days ago..gonna have to check again).

I didn’t want an Oculus before and this has further cemented my decision. Way to alienate a potential customer base.

This looks fun to play with! Gonna give it a go here if I can figure it out =P Total newbie to this sort of thing.

Ahhh, thanks for clarifying, Jorge. The picture looks very promising! I look forward to playing it on my Virtual Boy one day 🙂

Hmm, anyone else getting a black screen after the language select? I tried different languages but just get a black screen on hardware. Unless I somehow did some horribly wrong…

Thanks again for understanding. I shot those three an email, hopefully that will help them see it quicker and get in touch with you.

Sorry, speedyink (and CJZEPP), I can’t spare the time to do these repairs anymore. I’ve been planning to post an announcement to this effect, but I haven’t gotten around to it, so I guess this is it 😛

I could be wrong, but I think HP Lovethrash said he was doing them.

Nooooooo! That sucks, but I understand. I wish I acted on getting mine done sooner =P

Nice find. Is that in an auction?

If I make any more repros, I will ship them directly from me to the customer. I can’t lose the time and money having them keep getting stolen.

This isn’t the first time? This is terrible, man.. what a shame this sort of shit happens

Ok, this went from a little weird to very fishy…his latest post:

“None of these had labels and I had to sort them out from the other carts in the lot which were Hyper Fighting repros which I won’t be listing until I get more info due to the mess that has happened there.”

Crap man, sad to see you go. You’ve got quite the collection it looks like, I’ll shoot you a PM

Huh, good question.. Being without the label and all that is it possible he made reproductions of the reproductions? I find the no label part of it a little strange..

Well at least you got something back.

Yeah, you’re gonna have to work your way up the power chain. Unfortunately I haven’t opened mine up yet, so not sure where you if it gets to that point. Somewhere around where the controller plugs in I’d assume.

Hopefully its just the controller though, very easy fix =P

That sounds like fun, I’ll probably give it a go

Wow, that was quick! I mean obviously just the beginnings here, but you already have a little intro and everything. Good job!

A couple of years ago, I remember a couple of these stands appearing on eBay with low starting bids, so the bidders were allowed to determine the prices instead of the sellers. Each one was just a loose black stand, so no original packaging to go with them, and one or both of them might have even been missing a clamp or two. They each sold for about $200.00 to $250.00, not including shipping.

That’s some good info, thanks Ben

Hi Bigmak,Speedyink,
What do you think, how much I have to pay for a loose used stand or new one?

I’m looking for a japan stand since my first Virtualboy.
The stand looks fantastic and fits perfectly to the VB.
But the price for this is much to high…

Thanks,

Cosmo

As Roli said, it’s hard to put a value on these things. I’ve seen them at a huge variety of prices, and they’re usually different amounts of “Complete” too. I think I saw one for around $500 online once, with a VB, but was missing some pieces I seem to remember.

I really like that idea. The sillyness will definitely make it stand out.

Hey thanks man. I saw someone do this a while ago with Baseball. I figured Mario Tennis is at about the same price level. The choice is either take it to the local game shop and get like 2 dollars, or try to sell it on eBay, though I’ve never sold on eBay so it’s not worth it to me to learn for such a small item.

Therefor, especially since it’s Christmas time, I’d rather give it to someone who would appreciate it. Although depending on location there is shipping, which means it’s not exactly free. Actually, if it’s less than 5 bucks to ship it I’ll probably just pay for it. I’m not gonna make someone paypal such a small amount.
