these misprints aren’t common, but they do happen. I have a Wario Land demo cart that has white along the tops of the letters on the Virtual Boy logo where there shouldn’t be.

Here’s a quickly put together comparison of the Virtual Boy Prototype Stand (just thought to throw it in here). I couldn’t get the lighting right for each shot, but you should still be able to see things pretty clearly. Also, I didn’t write any text explaining which stand is which, but I figured it would be quite easy to distinguish the retail stand from the prototype one.
And big ups to my man macbiggins (bigmac) for giving me the opportunity to purchase the prototype stand, if it weren’t for him, I’m quite positive that I wouldn’t have found one any other way!

Alien Attack is definitely on my “to buy” list of VFD games.
One VFD game that I highly recommend for anyone, is Astro Thunder (second picture). I’m telling ya, check out some videos of this game on youtube, this little machine works its ass off to keep you entertained, and does an amazing job with its multiple levels and game speeds. If anyone is only going to have 1 VFD game in their collection…let it be this one!
