Any chance of a pre-order for a restock?

I missed the original one since I didn’t have a spare donor cart, I do now though.

+1

My body is ready for the next batch 🙂

Ahh yes indeed it has 🙂
Now patiently waiting for the next batch.

Ahhh been out of the loop and missed out 🙁

I’ll wait for the second batch, already have a Flashboy +, but having the bigger rom size is nice, specially for that Hyper Fighting game, then again, no use if that rom hasn’t been dumped and leaked yet, or has it?

Subscribed to this thread so I don’t miss out on the second batch when it opens.

Like others have already, great job.

Not taking credit for this quote/slogan that I found, I slightly changed it to fit.

“Virtual Boy: The system that Nintendo has never really denied its existence

Like everyone else who wishes to enjoy this master piece of a game. I wonder how the next batch of the official cart release is going to be handled? How many production runs? and I know it’s wishful thinking but how to prevent scalpers from making a penny out of the next batch of this carts.

Us genuine VB owners should be first in line to put our name down for pre order.

Thinking outside of the box, but wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to hard code our VB serial # into the cart which can’t be modified, that way the game cart is tied to our VB console, this will surely limit scalpers making money out of this.
Touch wood, if something ever happens to your VB and you get another one, return the cart back with proof of purchase and for a small fee get a new cart with new serial #. This will definitely make this game limited 🙂

Can’t wait for the next production run, but will I be successful in getting a copy is the next question.

Just some FYI pics of my JAP Retail v10117121 console’s Box and User Manual.

Thanks! Your unit throws a monkey wrench into the data appearing in the “Does Your Virtual Boy Have “PLAYLINK” or “EXT.”?” forum thread.

Hi Ben, glad to help out here.

Yes I have just been reading that thread, very interesting indeed 🙂

Hey, xs4all!

Beneath the slot for a link cable, does your Virtual Boy head unit have “PLAYLINK” or “EXT.”? I can’t make it out for sure.

It says “PLAYLINK”, I have uploaded a closer pic.

Thought I’d add my serial number for my VB.

My brother was travelling in Japan back in 2010 and asked if I wanted anything, I asked if he spots a Virtual Boy to get me one 🙂

Long and behold he found a 2nd hand unit, the store owner said it’s only used only a handful of times.

When I received it, I kid you not, the box was brand new, the unit was still in the plastic wrapper, so I can’t see any signs of this being ever used, so I scored myself a gem 🙂 And he got me 3 games as well. Can’t remember how much he got it for but it was pretty cheap.
