I wrote a mandelbrot calculator in assembly within 2KB.
Four aspects are maybe worth mentioning and interessting to others.
Hello everyone, just wanted to let you know that I’ve made a document to help people out with creating stuff for the HyperFlash32. You can find it under the “guides” section of the HF32 page. The assets I used in it are available there as well, and if you liked my Virtual Bowling and Innsmouse labels from the original contest, you should be happy to see updated versions of those included in that folder as extras.
Thanks to KR155E for adding a bit of code to include the folder, Mellott for reading through it for me a couple of times, and to everyone whose icons or labels I used in any capacity… I would have asked first but nobody ever seems to mind, and I was pretty eager to get this out.
As always, let me know what you think. Hopefully you’ll like it. 🙂
A public demo of Capitán Sevilla 3D has finally been released on the Team VUEngine Patreon.
Capitán Sevilla 3D is a remake of Capitán Sevilla 2 by Rubén Garcerá Soto, which in turn is a tribute and sequel to Hi-Score’s and Dinamic Software’s Capitán Sevilla for Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum and MSX from 1988. It’s a humorous side-scrolling action platformer where you jump and shoot your way through a total of 4 areas.
Read the full story behind this release and download the ROM here. If you do not have the hardware to enjoy the demo on a real Virtual Boy, you can also play it online, or watch a video recording on our Youtube channel in 2D or anaglyph.
“Hamburgers En Route To Switzerland” is a side-scrolling Shoot’Em Up by Chris Read, where you play as a flying hamburger. An official physical release of the game is now available at Uncle Tusk for $125.

You can try the game online here.
Banda Virtual continues their series of obscure pseudo homebrew minigame for Virtual Boy with “Pacnelsonic”, a simple Pac-Man clone. It’s a Game Boy homebrew game that was made specifically to be wrapped in M.K.’s Game Boy Emulator to create a VB ROM of it. As always, it has been released on Youtube.
You can find the ROM attached to this post for download or just play it online.
