I have a small problem with my Flashboy Plus. I haven’t used it for a couple of years, but back then it was working fine. Now when I try to flash a game, and it seems it’s dependent on the size of the game, it never finishes flashing.

Smaller games get to about 60 or 70 percent before it seems to disconnect, reconnects itself and doesn’t finish. Larger games like Golf gets to 1% and does the above.

Anyone come across this before? Do I have some bad chips on the cart somewhere, maybe?

Just send it back to me. I’ll have a look at it, fix it or replace it.

Have you been using the padder?

Is that Richard? Do you still have the same email address you’ve always had or do I contact you here?

You need to use the really short USB cable for it to work that came with it. Do not use longer cables, those give these kind of issues. I had this happen and solved it by using the short cable that it came with.

Yeah, I can’t find any short ones, at the moment. And I can’t remember what the cable looks like (if I got one with it and if he supplied the same cable for everyone).

EDIT: Found a short cable, transparent one where you can see the woven wire shielding. Same results.

Yes

Thanks. I’ll be in touch.
