Hi!

I have a problem with my Virtual Boy , It works fine except for 1 thing..

The Right Eye screen is not working good and is al scrambled up…..there’s no making out what is on the screen , while the Left Eye screen is working perfectly and I can play games with it without any problems.

What is going on with my Right Eye screen , It’s not an alignment problem because that’s good too , the lines are crossing each other..

Can somebody help me? and tell me how to fix this?? I just got it recently

use the oven trick, another thread should have a link. The same thing happened to me that happened to you, except my left screen was messed up.

The oven trick…..that means that i have to break my Virtual Boy open….

Almost impossible if you don’t have the right equipment -__-

then i guess you cant fix it >< does this happen everytime you play? Cuz like i have mentioned in other topics mine get sometimes the lines but not to the hole screen only in the deep deep red color(like when u pass a lvl in wario land and u see the treasures) or the left screen would be more bright than the right, then it would go back to normal red but that happens 3 out of 10 times i will play. in some games like marios tennis and teloroboxer fe i never had those issues

I sanded down a flat-head screwdriver to open my VB… long winded, but it works.

Unfortunately it happens everytime , it gets badder everytime , but the other eye screen is just perfect…. it’s frustrating -__-

your welcome… but if you actually sand down the flat head with sand paper (like I did) you will need ALOT of sandpaper.

Hmmz, i will keep notice of that XD , hope it works!

Anyone else has any suggestions on how to fix this?

Gamebit also work… but you will still have to sand it so it fits in the hole.

This post gave me all of the information I needed to repair my Virtual Boys yesterday…

Follow the links he provided… it’s a lot easier then I expected it to be… hardest part was getting the right tools…

As soon as i have the screwdriver i will try it right away!
