I don’t think on demand cart-only releases will work. There is a limited supply of connectors that we have. I’ve been buying baseballs in bulk for awhile. I currently have over 300 of them I need to get the connectors out…and I’m sure that sounds like a HUGE number. But, we made 100 copies faceball: remastered…so 300 ..might just be 3 games.
There will always be a constant tug of war on where we put our resources. Do we deny late comers to the retro party the chance to own bound high ? Should we constantly try to restock that game ? What happens in the future when new releases cost way more to produce (because of shortages in connectors)…do we release fewer and fewer games ?
I can assure you, a limited supply was not intended or wanted. We are currently looking at restocking some of the order releases. I can’t confirm or deny any title :)..or talk numbers. But, we can’t do so indefinitely just to keep the after market prices low.

He writes in the auction that it is a reproduction and started at 30$. The game also sold out a while ago so it’s not like he bought it and resold it. I think that is everything we can ask for.
It sold for 120$ which is very low taking into account that the game sold out. Of course it’s not nice seeing them pop up on ebay. However, the people who donated have never been told they would receive a physical card. If they don’t want their copy why shouldn’t they be allowed to sell it? It should be ok as long as they are not telling lies.
I’m fine with it..hope they enjoyed it while they had it. Just caught me by surprise 🙂
I’m really interested in this project – as most people are.
But, having said that (typed that ??)..I think it’s a bit pre-mature to ask for prices and talk about pre-orders and how many of what you guys want to pick up :). I think he was just showing a beta and telling people about his progress (WHICH IS AMAZING).
Way to go dogp..and big props from the ..bigmak 🙂 heh
If some of the beta cords or tests cords ARE functional (but don’t fit quite right..short cord ect…), I would love to see a way to get them into the hands of some of the developers (thunderstruck, guy perfect, danb, runnerpack..this could go on..).
Oki, small update. Faceball: remastered should be out soonish. I’m guessing 2 weeks..but that’s a guess. Just wanted to let you know 🙂
Space squash translated boards are done and arrived today. I’ll cart them off within the next few weeks and send them to Tusk. We’re about 3 months out on releasing these…still trying to keep the spacing of the releases.
We’ve got plenty of connectors still (my 288 baseballs arrived safely)..so everything still is going great 🙂
dreamtr has one of the official ones ..I think he’ll accept offers on it (but don’t go asking a few k 🙂 )…dogp made the one on youtube..you prob need to talk to him about it.
