Right now..it just takes some time and the willingness to have a good wife that doesn’t mind spending money on a shirt you won’t wear..or a pen you won’t use.
Another blockbuster cardboard sign. This one is made to fold over a table. Smaller then you would think (maybe 14 inches long or so). This is where the entry forms for the ‘must see 3-d’ contest were held.
Got some vintage shirts in..pretty hard to find. The tie dye one is my favorite so far..it look’s great from both sides. Not sure the best way to display them in my limited area.
The only ones i’ve seen are the oversized boxes on ebay. We have a box maker currently getting the boxes and manuals done. I think the current time table is a month til he’s done.
Not worth nearly that much. I paid 10 dollars for mine a few months ago..but it isn’t in the wrapper.
One pin sold for a bunch of cash..it was a bidding war. Now everyone one is trying to sell that thing for 100’s of dollars. I’d put a value of 50-60 on it at the most. It scares me abit that he has 5 offers on it…maybe i’m way off ???
I never really thought about it before. I just assumed that the Japanese demo’s would be made up of the first vboys run..so people could demo them before they were sold. I thought that is why they had different boxes..that the box design changed after the demo’s were made. BUT..indeed..looking at my demo unit the serial number is V10036943.
So the grey boxes were made specifically just for the demo units ? so the red/black boxes were made before and after the demo units were made ?
Yea, it’s called a mosaic box. It’s the first run that was send to Japanese stores so they could set up display vboys. There’s also a mosaic adapter tap.
I want to see all your new pretty stuff from your Japan trip Mawa :). I got a bunch of new stuff in..and some more stuff on the way. I don’t thin I’ll update my pictures til they come in and I figure out how to display them.
You can check out my current pics under my username and collection.
