These aren’t quite as rare as some of the other items..I see the hudson soft pin more often…. but the glasses and playing cards TEND to show up if you’re willing to wait awhile (might be a year or so).
Small update..should have another next week..with something a abit odd…but for now
The Hori 3rd party japanese adapter:
The Hori adapter came out just about the same time as the vboy was released. It’s a 3rd party adapter for the Famicom, Super Famicom, Mega Drive, Game Gear and….the Virtual boy.
バーチャルボーイ is actually on the box (virtual boy) ..and under all the boxes is a statement that says you still need to buy the separate adapter tap for it to work :).
I was thinking while you were on one level..the other levels could turn wireframe and loose detail. Or you could use the other analog stick to ‘turn’ the board in 3-d so you can tell exactly where you were.
I think playing on a tv would have helped the virtual boy when it was first released. Having other people see what you are playing would get them more interested in the games ect…
A quicker update then I thought. I was able to get a Red key chain with black lettering. Pretty rare..this is only the 2nd one found (mawa has the other). I’ve seen about 5-7 of the other color scheme (black with red lettering). Still need to find that one to complete the set.
What are your intentions with the game ? do you plan to release it, sell it..raise money to release it ?
I’m very interested in how ‘smooth’ the game is. Is it choppy when you move ? or is it smooth. If it would help..you could compare it to the gameboy or super nintendo version.
Sorry for all the questions 🙂 but you have caused quite a stir 🙂
