Ahem, oops, fixed. 😀
Cool! Will try it out and add the highscore tables! 🙂
Nintendo 1995 Holiday Demonstration Program:

Is anyone here form the US able to scan in the demonstration program and rip the VHS contents? If anyone is going to pick this up, please let me know and I won’t bid on it. I’ll pay you back the buying price when you submit the scans and videos to the site. 🙂
Another interesting item from the same seller:
NFB & 3-D Tetris Virtual Boy Store Sign:

Wish I had time to help with this, sadly it’s not the case. But hopefully I’ll be able to contribute little bits here and there if you guys get anything going.
I fully agree with HorvatM, though. VirtualChris’ code works (to a degree), but it is a mess and it is not a good idea to take this as a base for a community project. So, instead of taking over the Insecticide code in its current state, you should really start from scratch and aim for clean, as-modular-as-possible and well documented code.
So, either restart Insecticide with all the resources which are there (concepts, graphics, music), or start a new project. It sounds like a pain to scrap all the work that has been put into the code yet, but believe me, it would be worth it if done right. I guess you’d reach the current state fairly quickly and from there, it’d be much easier to work from.
Personally, I am not a big fan of fighing games, so I’d prefer a new game being made, but that’s just my two cents. 😉

It’s a set of 3 iron-on transfer images.
– Hudson Soft Logo
– Vertical Force
– Bomberman
Cool item, but a bit expensive IMHO.
Old Nintendo commercials are rad! Some day, I want to create a Youtube channel for old commercials and promos.
I don’t think I have anything that I have not yet made available on any of my sites or which is not available somewhere on the net, though, so I can’t offer anything for trade.
Would you consider making these videos available for people to watch?
If it’s homemade that’s pretty-great-quality-homemade.
The cart dumper theory seems pretty solid, especially with RunnerPack’s explanation in mind.

Neat find! How did you come across that?
Was searching Google Images for “バーチャルボーイ”, as I do from time to time. There’s always at least one interesting thing to find. 🙂
Thanks Ben, that’s pretty much to the point. It’s very hard to put a price tag on the debugger, since I don’t know of a single one that has been sold before, plus this is the only early version 1 unit known.
I have done the mistake of selling my SNES Debugger for like 1/10 of what it’s really worth, maybe less. I don’t want to do the same thing with my VUE Debugger, and that one is much more valuable and harder to guess what it’s worth.
The best way to figure its value out seems to be to write up a description of it, make some nice photos and put it on Assemblergames or ebay to see how much people want it. I am really not in a hurry to sell it, though, as you may have guessed. 😉

Hey, I thought I had first dibs on that! 😛
Unless I get a higher bid from within the community, or a considerably higher from outside, yes. 🙂

If I were you Krisse I’d consider selling it back to Nintendo so that they can put VB games on the Virtual Console 😉
Heh. Hopefully they don’t just SUE it back from me when I put it up for sale. 😉
But… we’re getting off-topic here.
Most of the stuff has sold by now. Will update the list when I have time.
The Display Sign is here: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/advertising/?m02
I am pretty sure I have some new, better images of it for adding to the site somewhere, though.
The “Video Adapter VUE” can be found here: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/hardware/?type=vue&sec=video_boy
@L___E___T: If you haven’t heard it yet, I am open for offers for my VUE Debugger. 😉
Certainly no chance via the official way. What we need instead is current or ex-employees at Nintendo or first/second parties who have access to such stuff and are willing to sell it on the black market or simply leak it. I think I don’t have to mention the tons of luck which are a requirement. 😉

Awesome, i hate to be a pain in the butt, lol, but i have a couple more quick questions. I just ordered my flashboy last week and havn’t gotten it yet. From what i’ve read, i believe i’ll be recieving the flashboy+ because i dont think he makes the other one anymore. I just want to make sure i get the right box/manual to go with my flashboy. Also i wanted to see if the price is still 16 euros shipped? I live in the Usa. And i want to make sure i pay the right paypal account, is this it
krisse[@]vr32[.]de
Thanks, i get paid soon so i definitely want one!
Yes to everything. 😉

Is this still available? I would like to know before i send payment, lol, thanks
Yes, it is.
(Most) Remaining items are now on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/kr155e/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=
Ben, you could probably use Red Dragon’s cheat finder to manipulate the score to get there faster.
Finally added the game to the database, sorry for the delay! Downloads, Screens, and more details to be added.
I don’t think a HOTY would make much sense for 2011 with only 2 projects been worked on that year. Or am I forgetting a project? Anyway, it might make more sense to allow those for the next coding competition, if we can hold one this year.

I have a label based on a cleaned up version of that poster. I think Chris sent it me ages ago. Looks nice.
Yep. I was going to dig it out and post it myself, but Richard was faster. Feel free to use it for any repro carts guys. 🙂
Yep, it’s that image from the manual, slightly rearranged and the stone texture redone in Photoshop. 🙂
@VirtualChris You might want to check this out: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=292 🙂
Thanks for these great rips, anikiii! Going to post about them on the front page asap.
