Finally the mystery is solved. 😀 Did you ever look for any unused character sprites in the ROM?

Reality Boy also has all those features, KR155E. You just need to run the debug exe, press V to get the display started, then D to get the game running like normal. After that you can press Esc at any time to get to a menu with CharMap/BGMap viewer etc…

Ah, thanks! That’s nice to know! Still, there’s stuff like save states or cheat codes, which are Red Dragon exclusive (right?), and it’s front end is much more comfortable to use, in my opinion.

So it’s possible after all, very nice. 😎
So, how did you do it? Would you mind sharing some code?

The PDF is now online.

Thanks, Dan! (BTW, I voted for Yeti3D 😀 )

You can use the submission form which you can find in the user menu to submit any kind of stuff.

I am still in the process of rescanning everything in higher resolutions, but it will take much more time until I finished everything. So for now It would be nice to add a PDF of the scans we have. 🙂

It would be nice to merge Reality Boy with the nice frontend Red Dragon had, I really miss all the cool features like CharMap or BGMap viewer.

It’s Virtual Fishing that need a translation. 😉

No, they require a patched ROM.

LOL, they wrote THAT in the OFFICIAL Nintendo magazine? 😀 I assume the screenshots are all already know, or is there anything new? What do you mean by data leak? Looking forward to the scans!

Thanks! I knew “farer” sounded weird. 😀

Great! Anything still not working?

It’s “Farer away”, right? 😉 Before posting it in the Wiki, I think I should make a better one, maybe even several for objects at different distants instead of putting all in one image, which can get confusing quickly, with all the lines and colors and blocks. 😉

That’s correct. It’s confusing if you don’t approach it the right way, so I made a quick illustration:

I redid the user navigation menu and it’s now also working in Internet Exploder (No typo :-P).

It required a little hack to get the topic id included in the link from the “recent posts” box, which the notification box seems to be depending on. Should work now.

The notification feature is now implemented and ready for testing. Subscription boxes can be found at the bottom of pages in the forum, news section and marketplace. You can turn on notifications by clicking “Edit Profile” in the User Menu. “Account” > “Notifications” shows up your currently subscribed notifications.

Give me some feedback and let me know if it’s working as it should. 🙂

It does an integrity check with a checksum at startup and loads the default scores if something’s wrong. I did the same with VUE Snake.

I meant “Recent Posts” on the front page. 😉

Currently, yes, you can only look for new posts “manually”. Normally, the “new posts” box on the fron page is sufficient, though, due to the low number of posts. 😉

Anyway, I’ll look into the notification thing as soon as I find some hours for it. The functionality is there, I guess I’ll just have to adjust the theme a bit to make them work.
