Hey Mandy. Hmm, I could think of so many questions regarding that game…

Could you tell us more about those scripts?
Can you confirm that the known box art is real?
Are you or could you get in contact with the programmers of the game? Maybe someonbe kept a cart or the source code?

Thanks for sharing what you know 🙂

Lameboy is right, it’s the cardboard cover that the VB came with.

Fake. Just like the “Hacker” in Golf or the level select thing in Wario 😉

Uff! More info please 😀 How far in development are you? Anything to show yet? Sounds cool.

Maybe that’s because you’re the same person mr. shizo?

Wootilicious! 😉 So, how well does the stereoscope applet work?

Here:

This is what it will look like in PVB3.

Woot! I finally got it working using an iframe.

I am having a single problem left with writing the screenshot page. I want to change the “leftImage” and “rightImage” values in the following applet using DHTML but can’t get it working:

Any suggestions?

The idea is that you click on thumbnails which are then displayed full size and at the same time the values of the applet are changes, so you see the right screens if oyu click on the 3D symbol.

Please use the search function of the forum, this mirror problem has been discussed many times already 😉

/me grabs 800 bucks and jumps in his time machine 😀

OK, once again just for you genius. This forum is for VIRTUAL BOY, which is a 3-D Nintendo console, you are talking about VISUAL BOY, which is a Game Boy Advance emulator. Thread closed.

Cool. What about building a video signal converter, would that be possible? I mean, so we know enough from docs about how it all works to build and program such a device to make it possible in theory?

I’d like a copy too if that’s possible 🙂

Well, your english is OK, I understand everything 🙂

I passed your question over in the chat, maybe someone can help you.

Hello Jack!

INTERESTING! Could you give some more info about your projects? Maybe images?

Maybe this page can help you: <http://www.goliathindustries.com/vb/VBDiagrams.html>? I couldn’t find a reset pin on the diagrams though.

Please keep us updated on the tool and the game 🙂

Ah cool, is it like in the GBA version? Did you take a screenshot?

I agree, game pad support would be great, also the ability to emulate two VBs at once and play link games against each other sounds like a great idea!

Other (not that important) things I can think off are:
* Video/sound recording
* screenshot capture options like format, size, pallet…

And of course, all the nice things RB and RD had to offer, like the cheats system or the debugging options.

Hey Paul, welcome to the community!

To start learning how the VB works, I’d suggest reading David Tucker’s VB Programming Manual.
Then you should download and install gccVB and start with looking at the available source codes. By playing around with them and modifying them you learn writing programs for the VB pretty fast.

The VB is a pretty straight platform, it is extremely easy to program for it, you don’t need much more than some basic programming knowledge to get good results. Blox, for example, is not much more than a bunch of variables, ifs and loops, in which graphics are moved over the screen ;P

All the docs, programs etc you need can be found in the Progamming section of PVB.
