Man, that oven method is not a fix. It just reseats the glue which may not even be fully seated now anyway.

You need to get those cables soldered and then mess with it. For display issues to be totally ruled out you must have the cables soldered.

Are you basing this on what you see in the manual and in official Nintendo pictures, because that is what I am saying is backwards. It simply will not fit the other way around and I know from experience that it will break if you try to force it. While it’s very odd that even the instructions are backwards, that’s exactly why it is important to set the record straight.

and use/buy a tripod, that should get you a similar level of comfortability, is easy to use and not that expensive.

Huh, I’ve never seen that before.

I wonder if there are any adjustable Tripod mounts that would be similar to the lamp-o-tron, so I could move the VB in front of my face instead of having to move my body into the VB lol

My main issue is that I can’t even begin to do this properly. I looked for a lamp like the one that has the screw holes in the same place as the Virtual Boy stand, and I gave up after hitting two different office stores.

So I was hoping someone had an idea of what it would take so I could just order the supplies online.

My only real option is probably this lamp stand so I can move it around and position it in front of my eyes. I’m way too skinny to rest the stand on my chest lol (it’d just be hitting against bones).

I feel like this site is missing a guide on how to most comfortably play the Virtual Boy, haha.

I did that, just got it wet and dried it out. It smells better now, lol

But I’m having a nightmare trying to find a comfortable way to play now.

How do you play your VB Lee?
