I honestly get impressed more and more by Virtual Boy with every new homebrew being designed. It’s truly a 3D powerhouse even with its red and black visuals; I still consider it the best 3D out there. 🙂

Fascinating! It’s interesting what new things can be learned that previously went undefined. 20 years later and we are still discovering new information from Virtual Boy.

That looks spectacular and I am excited to eventually get a good play through of it. 🙂

Oh that’s cool, so maybe they will make a return trip back to you then?

A Sega Mega Drive adapter would work. 🙂

AC output will not work without blowing up the poor Virtual Boy; It requires DC.

I doubt most of these “reviewers” have actually had their hands on a Virtual Boy to test games that they write about.

I am so excited to finally get a proper play of the game. Thank you for being so awesome to us, thunderstruck!

Unfortunate that the hate Mario’s Tennis; I personally think it’s a great game. I actually am a huge Mario Tennis series fanatic. The Virtual Boy version was the first game in the series, and that’s quite special as the series is still popular today.

I store one complete in box above my display case and the other is sitting (waiting to be played) on top of a Blockbuster case.

I like that they will be more durable and capable of supporting face pressure for a future headstrap.

Yea that is a nice Wario Land figurine! 😉
Would you build one for commission?

Awesome! When I get home I’ll give it a go, maybe jot down some notes for you. Just constructive criticism and such.

Do you have the most recent update available for FlashBoy?

I never really got into Red Alarm because the wire frames confused me to much. I also struggle to enjoy Galactic Pinball but everything else you mentioned rocks!

Like speedink said its special as it’s a retro throwback and was readied for the 20th anniversary of VB. it’s unfortunate that not everyone can own HF but we can all play the Demo. I actually have the demo on my FlashBoy+ because my friends are obsessed. 😉 They are just as happy with the demo though as the full game is just more fighters and zones.

I only got the full game because as a child SF2 was one of my top games and I just had to get the full game. Otherwise the demo is plenty enough for most people.

Happy North American VB Anniversary!

Even though Space Squash didn’t make it to the U.S., you can still buy a copy in our modern setting. Yay Internet!

You have similar preferences when it comes to games Ben, very similar. 🙂
That means we both rock!

Whoa, 4 of my top 5 are released after VB was cancelled proving that given time it could have been something truly special.
