In my opinion VB Wario Land is as timeless as Super Mario Bros 3. It’s the killer game for Virtual Boy, as it has so much replay value. I could play it through over and over and still find fun out of it!
I think it’s really cool, especially being a huge fan of Gameboy related stuff. I literally don’t own a single obscure item, everything I have in the gaming world is pretty common. I have obscure non gaming stuff but that doesn’t count.
I’d really like to see a WarioEdit program developed as it would be amazing to make a brand new Wario fan game for Virtual Boy. Also a sprite editor to convert a new Mario!! The options are endless really.
Jack Bros, but only the Japanese version is affordable.
The best games on Virtual Boy in my opinion are:
Galactic Pinball
Space Squash
Bound High!
VB Wario Land
Jack Bros.
Hyper Fighting
Faceball Remastered
Fishbone
BLOX
V-Tetris
Panic Bomber
Water World
Insmouse no Yakata
That’s actually really awesome RunnerPack! I am always amazed by what this community has done for the Virtual Boy, as it’s easily 3x better now then it ever was during its original life.
I also took a risk and bought from him without much knowledge of him. The game came fine and he was nice throughout the entire transaction; I also recommend him.
I honestly just want a loose copy, because I wanna have some 2-player action on my two VBs. I also need a link cable to connect the two games together.
Unfortunately, I’m not really into modern gaming, I pretty much stopped being interested at the stage of N64. So I collect practically all the cool gaming related items from then and prior.
I honestly feel like games shouldn’t have left the cartoon stage, I don’t like playing realistic games. That’s my biggest issue, honestly. I do own a GameCube but only for the purpose of playing all my favorites Gameboy games. 🙂 I also own a Wii but I only play arcade rail shooters on because it truly replicated that arcade feel for me. I actually bought a PS3 practically only because it was a cheap Blu Ray player at the time.
I do have interest in Intellivision Amico! I also was an early backer of OUYA and I got a lot of enjoyment out of it!
Well, welcome to the community; I find that nearly all people that actually give Virtual Boy a try end up really interested. I started collecting in 2012 and I am still collecting to this day.
Honestly V-Tetris probably doesn’t need to be translated as it’s already incredibly easy to play with Japanese and it’s also very, very low cost (basically $25 brand new).
But the other two will be big sellers, I’m certain.
