VB is around a half pound heavier than the Oculus Rift.
But yea that’s actually not a lot more weight surprisingly.

Many of us are excessively excited about this project! It’s gonna be awesome!

Excellent, thanks for keeping us informed.

I really hope this isn’t a dead project now. :/

I really hope that the Headstrap gets made because it’s been on my mind ever since the announcement.

Has there been any updates about the project?

I really wanna remake this abandonware game “Monster Manor”, and of course I will add a part that says “This port is based on the game by Ambrosine.”

Anyone think they could help me do this, as it was one of the best PC games from 1999. 🙂

These are cool and will allow for many new games.

This is probably gonna be a mandatory visor when we get the head strap prototype rolled out. 🙂
The combination of these two items together will make VB fully upgraded.

That’s really surprising to me actually. 🙂

Welcome to the site!

Yes, the SNES uses the same size gamebit driver.

This one would work for the VB without modification. You might be able to find one cheaper though.

There’s lots of great homebrew here. Some of my favorites are:

VB Racing
Blox 2
Hunter
Hyper Fighting
Mario Kart Virtual cup
Mario VB
Yeti3D
Snatcher
Zpace racers…

Yeah I could go on, just try them all out =P

Also try Bound High and Faceball. They were two of the cancelled games slated for ’96, and definitely worth a play!

That Screwdriver!

It would be in Japanese, but I’m sure you could adjust to learning where to navigate.
Just in case though http://m.ebay.com/itm/271848902593?nav=SEARCH

Awesome! I am excited to see the prototype and I’m sure many other people are as well. 🙂

That is excellent news! I am growing ever more excited about this project!

Okay, that’s understandable; but please keep in mind people won’t be willing to pay very much as this is a niche item.

I’d guess $60 would be a good estimate of what people would fork over for such an item.

Fascinating, but I still am curious about the pricing range?

Oh wow! That’s a solid design and I fully support it. What will the price point be?
The straps would need to be adjustable as the VB is heavy and elastic would just stretch out of shape. I also recommend the strapd be padded a bit.

I would most certainly use my VB more if I was able to have it attached to my head and be free from a table. 🙂

I’m so excited to see this come through, and it would be so amazing to actually have a proper headstrap. If this turns out to be amazing I’m sure many of us will be interested in owning one. 🙂

speedyink listed them all for sure! 🙂
