It has to look cool, or what was the point? I will likely try playing it in public.

Nobody has built a decent one, they are all either to expensive or to ugly. I am interested in a strap if it looks good and is priced reasonably. 🙂

Unfortunately all the posters on the topic are saying a lot of hatred for VB. 🙁

This will be the best homebrew on VB, hands down nothing can compete. I’m sorry but a fighter (Hyper Fighting) game has nothing on a full adventure click’n’play.
Three parts is a cool idea, but if it was possible to own a full cart of a three parts even if limited supply it would be amazing.

Yes I remember Red Metals concept as well, and I actually wasn’t aware of his passing. I am amazed by the progress and dedication to complete his dream. This game will be one of the top games on VB for sure. Please tell me that it will be able to be sold in cartridge form when it’s released because having a click’n’play style game on VB has always been a great idea! 🙂

Fantastic! I look forward to being able to properly play Virtual Fishing! Before I know it I will have memorized the layout and will be playing it like second nature.

I like Virtual Fishing but could never get beyond casual playing. I personally do not know how to read any of the Japanese text in my manual. 🙂 Thank you!

Now if you could take screenshots in game and translate that would be a million times helpful as well. Or I could take the pictures?

50k is just not a possible number because of the community being so small. Virtual Boy is more of a curiosity then a serious gaming machine, even I’ll admit that reality. I only own one because I wanted one so bad as a kid. Unfortunately now I find it awkward to play (I don’t like leaning into it or really balancing it on my face while I’m laying down: I really wish it had come with a head strap!) and barely play it other then when someone notices my display in my room then pull it out to demonstrate the raw power!

Also this goal won’t place a cartridge in anyone’s hands, this would simply pay to get the game developed. We would still need to fork out the $80+ for a cartridge later, and that lowers the incentive even more.

I feel like this game should be left in lore and forgotten. We should move away from it, far away because it’s copyright infringement and do not need that sort of situation cracking down upon our heads.

I guarantee at some point both screens will fail entirely but do not worry as we have professionals here and they solder the screens for a permanent fix. 🙂

Omg, VB Wario could be converted into a Mario game instead! Change sprites, and create custom levels!!

I hope everyone who owns a R-Zone can find a copy of Panzer Dragoon! 🙂

I would be happy at that price too, as Panzer is rare. You will be very pleased with that game, as its one of the best!
(Panzer I’d say is worth around $25, on its own.)

That’s an awesome t-shirt, I would definitely wear one.

I only found a good deal on it because the seller could not confirm it working. Its unfortunately a rare R-Zone game and may be costly to track down, that doesn’t mean you wont run across a good deal like I did though.

I can honestly say that this game is by far the best of the several games I own for R-Zone, its better by a landslide victory.

I beat Panzer in easy mode, and will try medium and hard as well. 🙂

So I’ve been playing Panzer Dragoon on the R-Zone and I’m highly impressed, it’s a good porting! It has basically all the key concepts correctly drawn out and Ive compared it to the Sega Saturn version which it effectively imitated.

I now consider it to be the best R-Zone game!

I’m sorry but all Virtual Boy releases are limited releases because supplies for making games are limited. The only way you will be able to buy a copy is by purchasing someone else’s already made game or buying a Flashboy+.

Just in case you did not notice the thread; I copied the information here.

You see, Mr. Anon really made my wildest dreams come true, for not only can I play my favorite one-on-one fighting game of all time on my favorite video game system of all time, but I can do so as myself, who has all the abilities of the character I’m best with, Ken. Thus, no longer must I play as Ken, for I can now play as myself, Ben!

The game was always a personal project and never intended for anyone else besides Ben; he was kind enough to allow us to play a demo though.

To be clear, I am not at all upset that others are enjoying this great game, though I very likely paid much more for it to be made than anyone else.

He paid out of his own pocket for this game to be made, then either Mr.Anon went and contacted people or they contacted him. But it was never intended to be played by other people…

It must be understood that this was just supposed to be a private project between me and Mr. Anon. Now, I myself have no idea if Mr. Anon is getting any money from the distribution of the copies of these CIB games, but I am fully convinced that if I had told Mr. Anon to make an original one-on-one fighter for the Virtual Boy, he would have done an amazing job and wouldn’t have had to worry about copyright laws at all if he then chose to sell and distribute copies of his game.

It should have remained private; so it was wrong that people beyond Ben have a copy in their collection. I for one am disappointed in the trust being broken.

I also want to make it perfectly clear that I will never give anybody a copy of the ROM of the finalized game, as I will have no part in its distribution, so it is best for one not to waste one’s time asking.

There will never be a ROM release for the full game, as it was always meant to be only Ben’s because he paid for it to be a private item.

I would like to see Virtual Block made into a game. 🙂
