Well, Vaughanabe13’s carts wont use donor carts and will be able to store more than one VB game

However, FlashBoy plus has already been designed so they would be sold earlier than when Vaughanabe13’s carts can be right?

Final thought: I just want to play Bound High! (and Homebrew games) on my Virtual Boy someday, with any (either) cart as long as it functions right 😀

My favorite part of this idea is how its not going to use donor carts…

nobody would wish Virtual League Baseball to be $50 someday, right? 😀

Aww, I lost the FlashBoy auction… 🙁

Alright, who outbidded me and won? (don’t worry I won’t spam or stalk you, I’m just curious 😛 )

I do have something pretty cool that I’ve been playing with on and off for a long time… maybe I’ll post some pics one of these days. I doubt it’ll ever go to production, but it’s cool anyway.

DogP

Please do! 😀

Seconded! 😀

Thirded! 😉

Fourthed.

Fifthed! 😎

Virtual Jockey, but it would have to buy me dinner first.

????? 😕

Golden FlashBoys… shiny… 😮

Did this ever happen on any site when the original FlashBoy released?

I (sadly) wasn’t looking at Virtual Boy stuff in 2007 (I don’t think at least, but I faintly remember seeing this site back when it had a different style, but its a blurry memory so I’m not sure… I probably did go to this site many years ago but wasn’t looking at particularly Virtual Boy things rather than Nintendo things, so that might be why my memory is blurry)

[size=xx-small]you don’t think Nintendo or someone will see these news reports and stop it even though its the “unloved” Virtual Boy… right? 😯

I got a Super Mario World like Zubari95’s one from a SNES “Super Mario World set” so I believe it isn’t counterfeit

yet I thought that the ones that look Super Famicom-ish (but are not a Super Famicom cart) were counterfeit, but I’ve heard it was actually a different version of SNES carts they had, plus I believe I heard on another forum that someone got StarFox from Toys R Us once and they had a Super Famicom-ish SNES cart

I think it might be different versions that are both real (unless if you got them from a Chinese (or anyone really) seller who has a cartridge that claims “10000 in one! Mario World 6! Earthbound! Chrono Trigger! Sonic! TELEROBOXER!” 😛 )

Weird? Yes. Cheesy? Definitely. Ugly? Perhaps… Disturbing? Only to you, I’m afraid. 😛

Also, it’s just a box… Just take the game out of it and throw it in the trash!

* RunnerPack pictures RidingHero and the other collectors foaming at the mouth and making effigies of him just for writing such a thing 😉

DO NOT throw out the box! 😯

either get the American “Golf” (which is more expensive unless if its cart only but if you were willing to throw out a Japanese box you wouldn’t mind an American “Golf” being cart only) or wait til there is a Japanese golf thats cart only (theres no scary art on the cart)… please don’t throw out a box that is already there 🙁

There’s at least one guy that repairs these in his business, you have to search for him here, don’t remember the alias. Or try and google it. I think you can even ship loose displays and get a fixed pair back.

Then all of a sudden Deadly-D put down his bottle of wisky and turned to the gentlemen haven there little discussion in the old Virtual Saloon. He slowly got up and when he did some red trail dust began to stir on his hat. He walked over to a table that sat Guido Anchovy the kid, Doc e5frog and Jesse Zubari95 James and said “Pardon me. I couldn’t help but over hear your conversation, I believe the man your looking for is… Johnny Phantom.” The three men looked at each other with only there eyes for a second and before they could speak another word Deadly-D said “He ain’t been around these parts much. He’s been back east over there at them NintedoAge Forums likely got some new things goin. I reckon senden him a wire wouldn’t hurt.” Deadly-D knodded to the three card players and walked through the doors of the Virtual Saloon. They watched him get into his wire framed R-Wing and fly towards Mario Clash tower. THE END? 😛

then that there silly enthusiast who goes by the name of “gunpeiyokoifan” entered the Virtual Saloon, heard Deadly-D’s post, and laughed just like the way she did while playing Mario’s Tennis on her lil’ red partner 😀

Thanks for sharing that DogP

I never saw a Dr. Mario arcade machine until now!

also, pretty neat matching Pac-Man bathroom 😀

Golfers are scary? 😛

Hehe, look who’s talking 😛

Golfers don’t spit acid on you

(yeah, I knew someone might have said something for me saying that 😛 )

I bought Teleroboxer and V-Tetris, was thinking of getting Golf, but the scary boxart and being just plain golf kinda makes me want to avoid this game.

Golfers are scary? 😛

if any Virtual Boy game would be considered scary, wouldn’t it be Insmouse no Yakata?

hmm… how do you say “Virtual Boy” in different languages? the only different language I know how its said is in Japanese (well at least from what I hear) its “Bacharu Boi”

it would be a neat thing to know how its said in other languages 😉

(also I put this in “Topic ideas that were too silly to post seprately” just in case if this really was too silly/random to create a topic on… wouldn’t want to make that mistake again like I did on “Imaginative question” 😉 )

KR155E wrote:
Oh no, don’t we have enough of these topics now? Please use one of your existing topics for such posts at least, instead of cluttering the forums with randomness.

I am very sorry, KR155E

*nervously goes out of topic not wanting to be banned* 😉

Bidding on said last flashboy now… I really hope I win it! (for the good of playing homebrew games and in a way, donating to the site at the same time 😀 )

(wish me luck, Virty!)

Good thing you put that disclaimer at the bottom, otherwise I would have had to smack you silly 😛

[size=xx-small]exactly, I was afraid of that 😉

DogP wrote:
LOL! I hope you’re kidding. I mean… seriously?

Yeah I know, Dr. Mario is all the way in the mushroom kingdom, really far away to get a VB repaired 😛

DogP wrote:
When your car only starts every now and then, do you just wait until tomorrow, when the temperature/moisture will be different, which may fix whatever problem exists? And if not, maybe the next day? What happens when it finally does start, then you get to where you’re going and it doesn’t start again?

I don’t have a car and I don’t think the VB is one

DogP wrote:
Or… when the TV only works when you smack the side of it… is the solution to just smack the side of it, or get a mechanical hand with remote control to smack it (so you can do it from the couch 😛 )?

The VB isn’t a TV either but repairing the VB would be better than smacking it (I detest VB abuse)

DogP wrote:
If you’re fine with having a VB that works only when it feels like it, and will progressively get worse, then feel free to be “patient”.

some VBs are just finicky, maybe said VBs were previously owned by a VB hater

[size=xx-small]all above comments are for entertainment purposes only, nothing above is to be taken too seriously but it is true that I do not support or participate in VB abuse and it is also true I do not own a car, I also do not own a license or bumper stickers that say “Long Live the Virtual Boy”

Perhaps Virtual Boys are like humans in a way, sometimes they get sick (also known glitchy screens) but in a few days or so (most of the time) they get better

on a silly note: but if you feel your Virtual Boy isn’t getting better after long periods of time you can always take them to see Dr. Mario 😉

gunpeiyokoifan, have you ever touched the two terminals of a 9V battery to your tongue?

no, but I’ve heard that people have before (just the thought of doing that is quite nerve wrecking to me… even if its a shock and not battery acid related)
