Ack! I’m a few releases behind at this point. I better hurry!

I live near Boulder, CO, so here’s my current list:

Gameforce, Boulder: http://www.gameforceboulder.com/ — I could spend my *entire* paycheck there *every month* and still not run out of cool things to buy. I’ve occasionally seen Virtual Boy games there, but not too often.

There’s also a Gameforce in my actual city, Longmont, but their selection is way worse: http://gflongmont.com/

I recently went to a store called “2nd & Charles” at the Flatirons mall in Broomfield and was utterly surprised at their selection of retro stuff: http://2ndandcharles.com/ — they had a Sega Master System (one thing my collection is missing) and some hard to find Genesis games, among others. I definitely saw a Teleroboxer and a Mario Tennis there, too.

There’s another game trading store, but I can’t remember it’s name at the moment… when I do, I’ll update. 🙂

I betchya someone at Nintendo is juuuuust cheeky enough to put a proto of Zero Racers or Dragon Hopper in that Display VB, too, just to *know* that it’s there, taunting us all… 😉

Great display! Thanks for nabbing pictures for us!

Fantastic mod! Great job! How’s it feel?

How much are ya offerin’? I don’t think mine’s for sale, but everything has a price… haha.

Absolutely. It’s always good to help out the smaller stores. They’re usually struggling a bit themselves, so do what you can. 🙂

And hey, maybe it can be solder-repaired and turned around for at least a break-even.

Welcome back! So glad to hear you’re better!

Scary stuff, but glad it’s not too serious. Best wishes to a speedy recovery!

Anyone know how big a Micro-SD it will support? Seems a no-brainer to make it full 32g. As they say in the funner social circles, “the more the merrier”…

32 GB seems like supreme overkill. Virtual Boy games are what, 2 MB max? so, 512 games per 1 GB… times 32 GBs… which is 16,000 games, haha. Not that I don’t want more games, but that seems a *tad* optimistic to me. 😉

Then again, as memory prices fall, it can be hard to find anything less! Or if someone makes an mp3 player for VB and you want to lug yours around as the supreme mp3 player, that’d be pretty cool. 🙂

PM minestorm, who makes the FB+’s. I don’t know what the current status is

I’m infront with the repro’s at the moment. So, as soon as I get more FB+ PCB’s, I’ll be building enough to cover the back-order list (which is large). I have a week off work soon so I’ll complete them then.

I doff my hat to you, sir.

ooOOOOOoooo, Snatcher’s one of my holy grails, so this would be excellent!

That said, I wouldn’t mind playing without a minimap… 🙂

I hope you also wouldn’t mind playing without a boost indicator, timer, lap number, rank indicator, or any presence of your machine or other racers! (-:

Hmmm… that might make things a *little* more difficult… hahaha.

Right price, but wrong timing! 🙁 Wish I could go in on that for you. I hope you sell it soon!

Greetings and welcome to the forum!

You might put a WTB post in the marketplace, or PM minestorm, who makes the FB+’s. I don’t know what the current status is, but I think production is on hold at the moment. I don’t want to put words in his mouth, though!

What’s your collection like?

ooh nice. As soon as I get paid (at the end of the month) I’ll put my order in, assuming any are left. 🙂 Great release guys!

Oh man, great idea. Sorry to hear it didn’t pan out. That said, I wouldn’t mind playing without a minimap… 🙂

Wow, sounds like a great project! Super excited to see its completed form. 🙂

Whoops, missed that, haha. I get excited sometimes.

Presumably they stopped for lack of sales. I’ll e-mail them about a possible re-run… or if they know if the NES/SNES one works.

I think you can probably use a NES/SNES USB conversion kit from RetroUSB. I bought a couple to try out but haven’t had the time to deal with it lately. They used to sell a VB-specific kit.

I paid a bit north of US$400 for US Jack Bros., Complete in a *very* nice box. It was also the last game to complete my CIB collection, so I splurged a bit. There’s a small scrape on the label of the game itself, so I might re-buy just a cart some day, but for now I have to pay off my credit card, heh.

I’m really jealous of your Insmouse! That’s a great price, I think. That’s one of the main Japanese-only games that I want, but it could be a few years…
