I got mine fixed thanks to TheForce81 :).
Time took its toll on my baby as well…In my case i had no picture just pitch black. I used the oven method and everything is fine now. One thing i found trouble was the screws. One of them that holds the cable couldnt be unscrewed. That little gap on the screw got destroyed by the screwdriver. I used a pliers kinda thing and i was able to unscrew it.Man that took me some time. I didnt even leave the cables for more than 1 minute and it worked. I had the oven on full power like 250 Celsius. Hope it stays “operational” for a long time i also taped the rubber thingies just to be sure.
hahaha nice 🙂 enjoy your red baby  you should get wario land as well. Mario clash is good but it turns to be boring after a while.
nope! i think its ok now just buy a game and test it in order to be 100% sure(hey you need to play a game for this red baby right?) 😉
then i guess you cant fix it >< does this happen everytime you play? Cuz like i have mentioned in other topics mine get sometimes the lines but not to the hole screen only in the deep deep red color(like when u pass a lvl in wario land and u see the treasures) or the left screen would be more bright than the right, then it would go back to normal red but that happens 3 out of 10 times i will play. in some games like marios tennis and teloroboxer fe i never had those issues
its not to me…Play-asia.com brought some vb games i guess they buy them from there and resell them! well at least thats what i believe:P
Well it works fine know without doing anything …But i have to metion that the problem i mentioned above only happened once:P i bought jack bros and played it the other day and everything was fine i played more games after it and eveything was perfect…hmmm
Well i got my VB for a high price(ofc not $500 and $400 etc but still high) as well. I wanted it so bad so i made the highest bid in the last 2 seconds i got the vb in perfect condition(only time that i got lines in right screen was in wario land and that was one or two as well for the screen brightness that i mentioned in the topic nooooo) 7 games the blockbuster case manuals for the vd and some games as well some boxes the battery pack and the ac tap adapter:)
Not really…Its just as years go bye the more expensive it will become… Dont foget guys that the VB was a console that didnt have mass production 😉
Heh..tell me about it…check this out it will cost you more than $500 whenever u live http://cgi.ebay.com/Virtual-Boy-3D-System-with-Hardcase-All-The-U-S-Games_W0QQitemZ310028408230QQihZ021QQcategoryZ62054QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem but i guess its hell of a collection…

I encountered them its not that bad but it bothers me :/ and i am afraid of putting it in the oven i am even afraid of opening it up :S i guess i will use the tap method 😛 i bought it in a big offer got the hard case every part of it and 7 games on ebay so i dont wanna lose my money
Edit: I get the lines only on warioland and not on the whole screnn just some small parts when its really red…On mario tennis no lines….funny…maybe becuzi tapped it?:P
For Europe systems or US?You mean europe right?
EDIT: i noticed your flag so you probably mean for canada and for what i know canada has the same voltage power with the us 110~140 if i am correct. 😕
thanks for your quick reply. Both of them are AC adapter…at least thats whats written on them…Oh well i will buy a converter till then its batteries^^
Greeting i got a vb finally and i have both a snes and a nes.I live in Greece and the voltage here is like any european country.I looked behind the snes console where you connect the ac adaptor and it says ac 9 volt. If i connect to my vb will it get toasted?
