Descriptions complete! 🙂

Thanks! Now only missing “celestialeuphony.mp3”. 🙂

Thanks again!

Oh, sorry! For some reason I read “password”. That happens when I reply using only one half of my brain. 😉

Anyway, changing the email address is not working, so it’s deactivated. PM me your new address or post it here and I’ll change it for you.

For me, the most important point for cards is multi game capabilities. You can basically have everything in existance for the VB on one card. There are no flash chips of a size anywhere near that what cards can offer.

Cards are also much easier to obtain than those old 5V flash chips needed for the VB.

Homebrew games can furthermore be much bigger, the only limit is that of the VB – 256 MBit! Maybe there’s even ways around that?

Another plus for cards is the writing speed, which is much much higher than flashing through USB.

Oh, right! You can find it under the “Account” tab in the user bar. Or click here: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/profile/changepass.php

Hm, I once fixed the site to be at least useable in Internet Exploder 8, but didn’t test it in it in a while. Was there an update in the meantime? I will look into it and try to fix it when I have time, too many people still use it after all. But seriously, I am thinking about making the site completely unusable for IE users to force them to switch to a real browser. The site could only show a huge stop sign and a notice that the site doesn’t support their browser. 😉 Then again, it would probably be too much trouble to get it to look as I want it to due to MS’s “love” for standards…

Anyways, thank you for letting me know, TheForce81!

I’ve added the info to the database: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/games/?r002m#a

Can you guys help me with giving the remaining songs proper descriptions?

To get back to the original topic for a moment: Vectrexer told me that a FlashBoy was sold at the Classic Gaming Expo Auction for a final price of $170 (USD) on July 31th.

But you will have a bigger problem than to find the right flash memory chips. There is one element built in the Flashboy, which makes the FB perfect. But you won’t be able to find it. And when you think you found it, you can’t buy it. Even if your able to buy it you will realize, it’s not the same you were looking for. It is unreachable, priceless!

The element I’m talking about is LOVE. the Flashboy consists of 2% turnover, 20% fun, 38% skills, 50% LOVE (this information is supplied without liability!). It is the LOVE from the bottom of Chris’ and Richie’s hearts for the Virtual Boy and for the community. Even if exists another flash cart, cheaper and better with an amount of thousand units, it won’t be the same.

I am gonna frame those beautiful words and hang them on the wall. 🙂

Sure, go on! Would be a good thing for the community!

I looked through my inbox and you were one of the first 20 to preorder, so you’re SO in. 😉 The FlashBoys will approx. be ready in late September/early October. I will be too busy in the meantime plus the are some delay with part shipments. 🙁

I don’t think it’s awful. I don’t think anyone got a FlashBoy just to make profit selling it, it’s more likely that those selling their’s on ebay are just no longer interested in the VB or something.

Actually, I am happy and a bit flattered that the FlashBoy is such a sought after item. I am sure the same applies for Richard. Such auctions only show, that, while 90 EUR seem like a high price at first, you’re actually getting something that is worth more than that. You can always make your money back plus some extra if you no longer want it. And of course make someone else happy, who wants one desperately. 😉

I hope that we can soon make those waiting for the new batch happy, too. It might take until late September, though, since a lot of other stuff will be getting in the way until then. Stupid exams. 🙁

I am sorry that someone ripped you off, Undead. You’re not the only one, others lost even more of their hard-earned cash on fake EEPROMs. That’s a sad fact, but it’s no reason not to begrudge others playing this gem. Actually, you should be happy about finally being able to play a bug-free version of Bound High.

If I did not reply to your preorder saying you are not under the first 50, then you most likely are. 🙂

Ugh. That question is not as silly as it seems but actually on one level with the hen/egg problem. 😉

Red/black I say, since it has more red than black. 😉

Sorry, Undead, I really thought it’d be the last batch. In fact, I thought that of every batch since then, but got surprised by the demand for a new one.

But anyway, I did not charge anything extra for it, did I? You got it for the regular price, so I don’t see a problem here.

Oh… wow! Thank you VERY much! 🙂
