looks pretty useful, great work!

cool! i’d buy it and scan it in, but it’s so damn expensive… :O

does anyone know what this is? it mentions gunpei yokoi and virtual boy.

ok, the report option was deleted, because it was spammed a lot by bots and not really necessary on top of that, and the icons were replaced with the (updated) old set.

oops! i didn’t notice that, because the report button is not shown to the admin at all. thanks for letting me know, i’ll fix that as soon as i am at home. 🙂

The item desctription from the marketplace gives you the answers:

Bound High fore sale.

Yes i will sell my proto. I really need money.
the price is high. 3500 dollar. I did pay olot fore this one.
i know people will be upset about this add but i dont care anymore.

Fore picture check my collection. Its only eproms with a home made card. Works on any Virtual boy.

Most likely this homemade cart (pic attached) with fake EEPROMS, containing the known ROM with glitches when played on Hardware. Sorry, $3500 are a few thousands too much for this. 😉

Thanks guys!

Would it be possible to either put them (or a smaller version of them) to the left of posts under our avatars, or make an easy way to add them to our signatures? (Like a [badges] VBcode tag, perhaps.)

Good idea! I was thinking of the same thing, and will definitely try to add small icons under the user avatars on the forum. 🙂

That said, I just wanted to state (if you weren’t already aware) that some of the functionality is lost a little when using the Internet Explorer browser

Thanks for the hints. I am aware of both problems, but fixing them were nowhere on my TODO list. I think I fixed the hover menu problem in IE for my band’s site last year, so I will soon try to get it working in IE as well.

I don’t have a Flickr account, though. Maybe you want to give it a try? 🙂

Oh, it’s from Grooveraider. I have been a subscriber of his Youtube channel for a long time now, he has a lot of cool tradeshow videos. Nothing about the VB though, and I also had no luck contacting him, no answer at all. 🙁

Hello! Welcome and thanks! 🙂

I have send you the intstructions.

It was the last one, so all FlashBoys are now SOLD OUT people!

what was the original price of the vb in canada? was it the same as in the usa?

the manual arrived today, by the way. it is the complete manual, same as us but in french and in black and white, but no cheap photocopy, also, on the back it says “Nintendo of Canada” where it says “Nintendo of America” in the US manual. Scans soon. 🙂

it has a standard size connector, so any multi ac adapter can be used. sounds very useful for us europeans. no more stepdown converters. 🙂

the virtual boy was released officially in canada, right? there’s even a commercial in french:
http://www.vr32.de/modules/hardware/index.php?type=vb&sec=multimedia&video=97

so it looks like nintendo of canada made this b&w manual and included it in vb systems sold in canada, which would mean that it is an official one. well, i am looking forward to getting it to have a closer look at it and its quality.

no, he’s talking about something much, much, much worse than crappy unmelodic hardcore PUNK… hardcore TECHNO. ugh. 😉

welcome colb!

japanese virtual boy game were never factory sealed, probably someone sealed them afterwards.

that would be cool! there’s a polygon engine demo, which dogp ported, maybe it can be used for this. check out the following post:

no i don’t think there are any dimensional drawings. i quickly checked some patents but could not find any.

i always wanted to create one, but never got around to it. it would be great if you could create one and release it! 🙂
