thanks! 🙂

although it is a lot of work, the whole flashboy project is a lot of fun, i enjoy it.

don’t worry, i still have a lot. and if all are sold you get on the pre-order list for the next batch!

finally, the boxes have arrived, so i now have everything together. more info/final price/order info soon, one i have build more complete units. but here’s images. each box will be individually numbered.

with frontpage i meant the first page with news and blocks. but yeah, when logging in through the start page (www.vr32.de) the same happens, i think.
it’s probably the post vars interfering somehow?

it happens, for example, if you select another language while being on the frontpage. it’s one of the problems of the xoops system, so i had to hack it to fix that. it does not happen often, so i never bothered to look into it. anyone else finding it too annoying to not getting fixed? 😉

yes, box, cart, cd-r, cable. all that info is on the flashboy page. label here: http://www.vr32.de/modules/hardware/index.php?type=flashcarts&v=fb&sec=images.

sure, use what you need!

here are some banners: http://www.vr32.de/modules/about/?b
but don’t let this hold you off from making your own one. 🙂

hm, out of my memory (correct me if i am wrong):

completely english:
Galactic Pinball
Mario’s Tennis
Mario Clash
Teleroboxer
Virtual Boy Wario Land: Secret Treasure of the Awazon

mostly english:
Virtual Golf
Insmouse no Yakata
Red Alarm
SD Gundam Dimension War
Space Invaders
V-Tetris
Virtual Bowling
Virtual Lab

mostly japanese:
Jack Bros.
Space Squash
Tobidase! Panibon
Vertical Force
Virtual Fishing
Virtual Pro Yakyū ’95

the unreleased ones are:

SD Gundam
Space Invaders
Virtual Bowling
Virtual Lab

and of course any prototypes you have. 😉

25 units, another 40 will follow shortly after those.

Put me down for 2 (two).

Sorry, only one per person (for now), so as many people as possible can get one of the first batch.

And, just to prevent any confusion, this is NOT an ‘official’ pre-order thread. 😉

no you didn’t. can you do now? 🙂

I think I’ve asked this before, but how many are confirmed to exist? I think last time I was told five or six…

here

hehe, no, someone else. that unit does not exist anymore, they (team17) threw it away. at least that’s what they said.

I only have two and I used the Yahoo one for this account and when I tried to register with the hotmail one it said it was not allowed or something.

didn’t you say you have been registered using that hotmail account for over half a year?

Why did you post this at all, much less in the Dev forum?

This should have been a PM or e-mail to KR155E.

And KR155E, why encourage people to do this by replying?

Well, somebody had to post it…

i am just too kind for this job. well, topic moved. 😉

headset from ebay, debugger from someone in the uk. you can find more info using the search function. 😉

there is no user registered with this email address, which is probably the reason why you couldn’t retrieve your password. 😛

could you have been registered using another email address? in that case i could set a temporary password for you and merge the new account into the old one.

(P.S. What flavor are the instruction booklets?)

since “cherry’n’banana” would have been too expensive, i am afraid we have to go with “15 years old mattress” taste. 🙁

(luckily, the package won’t contain a flashboy instruction booklet. ;D)

i bought a big box of usb cables, so after all, everything that’s needed will be included with the flashboy.

also, the boxes are looking nice, putting stickers on the baseball boxes seems to have been a very good idea. it still takes a while until i get the final sticker sheets, though, the template is still being finalized.

attached are some pics richard took of a box prototype.
